BRI901 - Lumea IPL 9000 SeriesIPL Hair removal device with SenseIQ

First of all, the Lumea IPL 9000 series is very easy to use! I found the app that you can download to use along side the Lumea extremely helpful, it explains exactly how to use the device down to the number of presses you need for a certain area as well as any prep or after care. I have used other IPL machines in the past but never kept up to them enough to see proper results - again something the app helped me with as it sets up automatic reminders for next treatments. The treatment plan from Philips is 4 treatments every 2 weeks initially and then moving to maintenance treatments every 4 weeks which feels very manageable. Having only completed the first 2 initial treatments I am yet to see any decrease in the amount of hairs in the treated areas however the growth has definitely slowed. I’ve noticed I have been able to go longer between shaves - which as I say, after only 2 uses - I am extremely impressed with. This Lumea comes with 5 different attachments (again, very easy to change!) that make it perfect for most types of body hair and makes using it much easier and safer. I also liked the different strength settings as I could lower it to a more comfortable setting for sensitive areas - especially the face. It also comes in a very nice storage case that keeps the machine itself, the attachments and the power cable safely together. Overall I am very pleased with the Lumea IPL 9000 series, I’ve struggled to wait the 2 weeks to use it since the first treatment but obviously to see proper results it is just a case of being patient. My first impressions of the machine are that it’s easy to use and already showing results, if that continues then it’s perfect!

*Philips Lumea 9000 IPL I’ve only just unboxed the Philips Lumea 9000 and I’m already impressed by how premium it feels. It’s sleek, lightweight, and comes with different attachments for body, face, armpit and bikini so you can actually tailor it to every area without guessing. The “SenseIQ” tech is a nice touch too - it reads your skin tone and suggests the right setting, which takes a lot of the worry out if you’re new to IPL. What sold me is the promise of long-lasting smooth skin without the constant shaving or salon appointments. It’s corded so you don’t have to worry about battery dying mid-session, and the luxury beauty box makes it feel like a proper investment rather than just another gadget. If you want salon-style results at home and hate razor burn, this feels like the kind of device that could actually replace it. Can’t wait to see results after a few sessions.

I know that everyone’s body unique and some people will see results after first use, this is not about me. I started using this hair removal almost 3 weeks ago and really want to see when and how it will work. Regarding device: easy to set up and use. Corded, so I don’t need to worry about battery . clear instructions how to prepare body and how to use. Also it’s not heavy, so my hands were not tired straight away. I like that I have different extensions and shapes for all body (face, bikini especially). Also, this device is very smart and I was able to make my own settings suitable for my skin. Most important for me - I have reminders on the Phillips app which help me to plan my time in advance, otherwise I will forget to use it on time. How it’s work with my skin and hair. I have very thick hair and fair skin, also I’m very sensitive to pain (even very light one). For this reason I always shaved my hair all over body. But I’m fed up, as always need to think in advance where you will go, when to do this and so many times I had some reactions, as shaved to often. Also I’m afraid to go to any salons to do treatments … it’s just my personal fears . So I thought Home IPL device will be good alternative and I may forget about all problems with unwanted hair. When I used device for a first time - some areas was a bit painful other ok to manage. Second time was easier , as I knew what to expect . First hair starts to fell off after 10 days. For now I plan to use Lumia IPL every 2 weeks and I hope to see a result in 2-4 month time. Easy to store, as Lumia IPL have gorgeous case, I love this small details. For now - I’m very excited and looking forward to see differents.

Great coverage if using the correct cartridge. Setup is absolutely easy and not overwhelming. Maintenance is easy especially using the app. Value is worth every penny. Durability is great. You must follow the instructions so you don't end up breaking the device and or hurting yourself. I think this is an amazing thing to add into your monthly routine.

The treatments are quick-hair removal on both legs takes me literally just a few minutes, you simply place the device against your skin and press the button. I have a fair complexion and black hair, which is the ideal combination for this to work its best, After just a few sessions,! noticed that the hair grows back much more slowly and is sparser and finer. The treatment itself is really painless-only feel a slight warmth Thanks to the additional attachments, the device can easily be used on different parts of the body. Lumea features 5 power settings. It is comfortable to hold and doesn't slip out of your hand. It has a long cord, which is a big plus. It also comes with a nice storage case. The device is simple to operate and easy to keep clean. Another plus is that the treatment is painless and the device is user-friendly. I am very satisfied. This product is worth every penny.

Snel in gebruik te nemen en hij blijft bij ons op de badkamer. Ik gebruik heb 2-3 keer in de week en wanneer ik nieuwe haartjes op zie komen. Mijn oksels hebben echt minder haartjes en ik was eerst wat sceptisch, maar nu ben ik overtuigd. Gezichtshaar en de bikini vlakjes, zijn ook makkelijk aan te pakken. Er zitten verschillende breedtes van opzet kopjes bij, om het effectiefst te werk te gaan. Ik moest wel even wennen aan de flits, maar nu is dat prima. Ik merk snel en goed verschil, eindelijk een fijn alternatief voor mijn mesjes!

Eindelijk een IPL apparaat die echt werkt. Deze Philips IPL Lumea 900 BRI983 heeft al mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Na 3 behandelingen merkte ik al dat de haartjes ( op mijn gezicht, kin, kaaklijn en mondhoeken en oksels ) minder snel teruggroeien. Dag epileerveer en wax! Wat ik echt geweldig vind is de SensIQ technologie die de intensiteit perfect aanpast aan mijn huidtint. Ik gebruik de stand intensiteit nr. 5 Dit is de hoogte stand en heel comfortabel zonder irritaties. Het apparaat zelf ligt goed in de hand en is niet te zwaar en dus makkelijk te hanteren. De opzetstukken zijn specifiek voor het gezicht, de oksels, de benen en de bikinilijn, deze opzetstukken sluiten heel goed aan op de huid. De behandeltijd ligt aan het gebied wat je behandeld. De bijbehorende Philips Lumea IPL app, die heel duidelijk is en heel handig , De app houd je behandeling bij en geeft door wanneer het weer tijd is voor je volgende behandeling, ideaal. Mijn behandeling is nu nog elke 14 dagen en daarna wordt de frequentie steeds minder vaak. Ik heb veel last van haartjes op mijn kin en kaaklijn en ben zo blij dat de haargroei nu al veel minder is Aanrader!

Dit is de eerste keer dat ik de Philips Lumea heb gebruikt. Het fijne aan deze variant is, is dat je er een app bij hebt zitten waar je in kan bijhouden wanneer je je behandelingen heb gehad zo weet je precies wanneer de volgende behandeling gaat plaatsvinden. De set bestaat uit een case, de laser en 4 opzetkopjes inclusief adapter. De eerste keer dat je de laser gaat gebruiken selecteer je in de app wat jou huidskleur en haarkleur op die plek is vanaf daar bedenkt hij welke stand je het beste kan gebruiken. Je start met een testflits op stand 1 en kijkt daarna welke stand het beste voor jou werkt. De eerste flits wacht je 24 uur om te kijken of je geen reactie op de huid krijgt. Ik ben begonnen met mijn benen als test. Eerst onthaar je je benen en droog je ze heel goed af. Je zet de laser aan met het bijpassende kopje voor benen. Plaats de laser op de huid en wanneer het witte licht begint te branden kan je flitsen. Voor grote oppervlakken zoals je benen kan je de flitsknop ingedrukt houden en langzaam over de benen schuiven. Na gebruik smeer je benen in met een Aloë vera gel om te herstellen. Iedereen ervaart de behandelingen anders maar bij mij groeide de haren toch een aantal dagen later pas terug dus de haarzakjes zijn al een beetje in sluimerstand. Overal tot nu toe een heel makkelijk en handig apparaat! Ik ben benieuwd wat het in de toekomst gaat brengen.

De laser zit in een hygiënische en handige opbergbox. Elke kopje voorop de laser is duidelijk voorzien van locatie markering waarvoor het te gebruiken is, super gemakkelijk dus. Het apparaat is te koppelen met mijn app waardoor ik begeleid wordt tijdens het gebruik. Ook een voordeel vind ik dat het geen pijn doet op mijn huid. Ik voel het alsof er een elastiekje wordt geslagen, gevoelig maar geen pijn. Mijn donkere haargroei is na 2 behandelingen al veel minder en ben benieuwd na meerdere sessies wat het doet. Tot nu toe ben ik enorm enthousiast.

Ik heb de Philips Lumea IPL 9000 serie nu twee keer gebruikt en ik ben zeer tevreden. Het is pijnloos, je voelt wat warmte, maar dit is voor mij absoluut niet pijnlijk. Zodra het apparaat warmer wordt, maakt het wel meer geluid, maar vind het niet storend. Het uitpakken ging simpel, alle benodigdheden zaten in de doos en je hoefde verder niks in elkaar te zetten. Je kan het apparaat opladen en dus draadloos gebruiken, maar ook met draad. Na twee keer gebruiken zie ik op sommige plekjes al minder haar, vooral bij de oksels en bikinilijn. Dit is voor mij echt een uitkomst, want ik heb veel last van scheer en irritatie bultjes bij scheren en waxen.
