Brilliance4K Ultra HD LCD display

The Philips ‘Brilliance’ BDM4350UC is the largest monitor I’ve ever owned, with a screen size of just less than 43” It’s the sheer size of this dominant desk centrepiece that goes a large way to defining the experience of the monitor and whether a user will deem it suitable for them. It certainly took some getting used to, as it dwarfed my old 27” monitor (2560x1440) I was using just before this purchase. But I did adjust to the size, and after a few days, I found it perfectly comfortable to use for a range of tasks. The native resolution being ‘4K’ UHD (3840 x 2160) gave a lot of useful ‘pixel real estate’ without necessitating the use of scaling for most users. The pixel density was quite respectable – it certainly didn’t have the ‘wow’ factor of some smaller UHD screens in that respect, but it did bring with it a nice level of detail and clarity overall. The glossy IPS-type panel used in this display gave it a very low haze screen surface, and of course using an ‘IPS’ display was a big bonus too. I enjoy using the Philips BDM4350UC. I feel it is a good upgrade from my older 27” model in many respects, I found the overall image to be appealing for a wide variety of tasks. The massive screen also proved particularly engrossing for gaming, despite the monstrous size taking some getting used to, but very immersive and very enjoyable playing racing games like Project CARS/Assetto Corsa extra, and FPS like Doom….. A fixed stand is included, which doesn’t even allow tilt adjustment of the screen. On the plus side, the metal feet included kept the screen remarkably stable on the desk – and there are always VESA holes for alternative attachment to a compatible stand or mount of your choice. Overall this big monitor with moderate street price is definitely one to shortlist if you’re after an engrossing (but not necessarily overly competitive) gaming experience. It’s also a compelling choice for movies and general desktop work, with its strengths in accurate shade production lending itself to image editing and suchlike as well. The bottom line; a large and shiny 4K monitor that delivers a diverse and engrossing computing experience, at a reasonable price.

All i can say is it is great i use Cubase which is a DAW Digital Audio Workstation that runs Linear across the screen this allows me so see more. My only request is that you add a remote so that settings can be changed rather than with the toggle on the rear of monitor

Het is een fantastisch beeldscherm met een haarscherp beeld en heldere kleuren. Hij is wel écht groot op je bureau. Eerst kreeg ik hem niet hoger dan 30 hertz maar met een nieuwe kaart heb ik nu 60 hertz . Dat verschil is vooral met video's kijken duidelijk te merken. Ik ben zeer tevreden met dit scherm.

Tolles, scharfes Bild, macht richtig Spaß damit zu arbeiten

die Größe als Monitor ist schon beindruckend , ich brauche keine Brille mehr und die Leistung des HD-LCD-Displays ist hervorragend. ich würde das Gerät immer wieder kaufen und kann es mit bestem Gewissen weiter Empfehlen. tolles Gerät.

Es ist nun der 2. Monitor an meinem PC von Philips. 40" ist der Erste mit zwei 30" Displays zu beiden Seiten. Da die 30Zöller so langsam in die Jahre kamen habe ich mich auf Grund der guten Erfahrungen mit dem 40Zöller von Philips entschlossen den 43iger für den Austausch anzuschaffen. Und mit den jetzt zwei Moni 40+43" habe die richtige Wahl getroffen und bin sehr - sehr zufrieden.

Ein super tolles Produkt, allerdings vermisse ich die Möglichkeit das MultiView nicht nur über das Monitormenu, sondern auch extern über zum Beispiel den PC vornehmen zu können. Das wäre insofern gut, weil ich dann einfacher verschiedene Darstellungen der fünf Eingangssignale auf dem Monitor anwählen könnte. Die mitgelieferte Software SMART CONTROL kann es leider nicht. Scriptbefehle welches MultiView mit welchen Eingangssignalen gemacht werden soll wäre natürlich die flexibelste und beste Lösung.

Denna skärmen har allt och presterar mer än tillräckligt till vad man än har den till. Jag kommer köpa en till av denna eller nästa version av den, till en annan del av huset. Det ända minus är kontrollerna på baksidan som är krångliga och jobbiga att använda. Då man knappast sitter 1 meter ifrån en 43" skärm å då blir kontrollerna hel oanvändbara, skulle funnit programvara som gör exakt samma sak fast via datorn.
