I have always been a large resolution aficionado, you can never have enough pixels IMHO. I have read many reviews that complain the screen is too large - how ridiculous! If you read the manual, the OSD is a piece of cake. DP 1.2 gives 4k @ 60Hz, job done. I didn't think I would like the glossy screen, but you get used to it in about a day. I've bought 2 of these beauties; Philips must have a healthy order book, the 2nd took over 3 months to arrive. So what can you do? 12 pages of documentation at the same time, makes cross referencing a breeze. Spreadsheets of 150 rows by 366 columns is a nice to have. Pretty much an entire A0 sheet for diagramming, it is so productive to be able to see the whole picture in one take. Can't wait for 8k on 60" (146 dpi)

I wanted a large screen 4k display for a dedicated flightsim PC. Most "large" monitors seemed to max out at about 28 inches, so I had decided to buy a 40 inch 4k TV instead. And then I found this monitor via a review. Was always going to feel more comfortable with a PC Monitor than a TV, and have had good experiences with Philips products before so bought one. It is excellent. Got it running as a single screen, full 4k at 60hz via DisplayPort (after amending the DP level via the OSD setup menu) - motion is smooth (from NVIDIA GTX 980 TI) and image sharp and clear. Haven't played with all the picture-in-picture options and not likely to but they seem quite handy. Sharing this monitor between 2 PCs would make sense. Oh, and the sound quality from the built in speakers is good as well. Highly recommended. Makes my other systems feel very inadequate now. And if I get anything like the 20+ years I got from my large screen Philips CRT TV I will be a very happy bunny.

Lovely looking screen. This is perfect for the heavy PC user looking a lot of screen real estate. I move from a similarly sized TV as a screen to this and have been largely blown away. Gaming is a dream even if you can't use 4k. Just changing to 1440p or 1080p and the screen still looks great. If your PC isn't super powerful this screen should at the very least future proof you until your PC is. I mean even 1360 by 768 looked ok (go to a minimum of 1080 or 1440) though. The displayport cable was a good 2m long and fully supports 4k 60Hz (change to displayport 1.2 in the screen settings menu though). Don't cheap out and use a subpar cable though like I did, just use the good one Phillips provide in the box...

Fantastic Ultra HD 4K PC Monitor. Highly detailed vibrant sharp picture. Scaling is excellent. Contrast & brightness are terrific. The only minor downside is slight barely noticeable inversion artifacts when dragging a window on the desktop but this is not visible in gaming or watching a Bluray movie.

I work with multiple linked spreadsheets and this allows me to have four useable windows open at once. I previously worked with two or three monitors but find this to be much better for how I work and it takes up less desk space. Added bonus works great with PS4 when not working :)

Eigenlijk kan ik alleen maar WAUW zeggen op alle fronten. Ik gebruik deze monitor voor mijn Flightsimulator en het is alsof ik nu zelf in de cockpit zit. Op vliegtuigen staan soms kleine letters die gekleurde puntjes worden als je te ver inzoomd. Deze monitor geeft de kleinste lettertjes haarscherp weer. De glans op de vliegtuigen is prachtig zichtbaar en de scenery's zien er echt schitterend uit. Als desktop is deze monitor echt geweldig en HD films zie je nu ook echt in HD. Het menu is echt eenvoudig, duidelijk en makkelijk te bedienen.Ik ben meer dan alleen maar tevreden over deze monitor. Op alle fronten echt een WAUW! Ik kan daarom ook geen nadelen vinden over deze monitor.

auch nach einigen Jahren sehr zufrieden. Die große Pixelanzahl hat schon ihre Vorteile. Manche Texte aus dem Internet erscheinen allerdings winzig. Das läßt sich aber gaz leicht durch Herabsetzen der Pixelzahl beheben.

Hab den Monitor sein 11/2015 und bin sehr sehr zufrieden, ob Arbeit oder Spielen, er meistert alles.
