Philips Sonicare TongueCare+ showed a statistically significant superiority in organoleptic scores and preventing oral malodour eight hours after initial use when compared to rinsing with Listerine Cool Mint antiseptic rinse or tongue brushing with a manual toothbrush. Furthermore, after a week of using TongueCare+, findings showed reduced baseline levels of oral malodour bacteria.

The primary objective of this study was to compare tooth shade reduction following application of 6% hydrogen peroxide with and without Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed LED acceleration, immediately and seven days following treatment. Secondary objectives included an evaluation of safety, tooth color at all timepoints, and tooth shade at Day 14 post in-office bleaching, which included three-dose use of Philips Zoom NiteWhite 16% carbamide peroxide.

The application of 6% hydrogen peroxide followed by Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed LED acceleration was shown to be statistically superior than the use of 6% hydrogen peroxide without the LED acceleration. This difference was statistically significant immediately after the treatment, as well as seven and fourteen days following the treatment.
