Troubleshooting
The video display of My Philips Avent baby monitor is blurry
Brightness is set too low
Increase the display brightness of your Philips Avent baby monitor on the parent unit. Press the left or right part of the control button to adjust the brightness.
Note: If the brightness is set to a high level, the parent unit consumes more power.
Protective foil is not removed from the lens
Check to see if the protective foil is removed from the camera lens of the baby unit.
The lens of the baby unit is dirty
Fingerprints or dirt on the camera lens of the baby unit can affect the video quality. Clean the camera lens of the baby unit with a dry cloth.
The baby unit is out of range
Make sure that the baby unit is not further than 1.5 metres/5 feet away from your baby to ensure optimal video quality. Never set the baby unit closer than 1 metre/3.5 feet from your baby because of potential
strangulation hazard.
