What are the advantages of inductive charging?

    Published on 2017-08-24

Conductive charging requires a physical contact between the charger and the device. For charging, these contact surfaces have to be metal; and keeping these contact surfaces clean is critical for successful charging. Inductive charging, on the other hand, does not require physical contact between the charger and the device. Therefore, you don?t need to worry about dirty contact surfaces causing charging problems. The whole device could be sealed for easy cleaning. Furthermore, without the requirement of having exposed metal surface for charging, designers have more possibilities on the variety of surface material for devices. Plastic, wood or even leather could be used.
