Interproximal cleaning is very important to overall oral health, that is why Sonicare AirFloss cleans deeper between teeth, helping to form a healthy habit. It has clinically proven to improve gum health in just two weeks.
By flossing with AirFloss you gently burst away plaque that was missed by the toothbrush and prevent cavities from forming in the spaces between your teeth.
For those who don't floss consistently, water flossing can be an easy way to start cleaning the hard to reach areas in between the teeth. And with Philips Sonicare AirFloss you just need to Point. Press. Clean! Watch the video and check the 3 easy steps on how to floss.

Sonicare AirFloss is designed as a substitute for dental floss for those who either don't floss or floss inconsistently. However, many people who find it difficult to use dental floss may find AirFloss easier to use and navigate in hard to reach areas, such as between the back teeth.
AirFloss is designed to be used on the outside (the cheek side) of the teeth. 1. Place the tip between teeth and apply gentle pressure. If you wear braces, make sure the tip of the nozzle does not interfere with braces or wires. 2. Press activation button to deliver a burst of air and water. 3. Glide the guidance tip along the gum line until you feel it settle between the next two teeth. 4. Press the activation button again and repeat for all spaces including behind your back teeth. Press power on/off button to turn power off after use.
Sonicare AirFloss Pro and AirFloss Ultra have been proven in laboratory studies to remove 99.9% plaque from treated areas and is clinically proven to be as effective as string floss in removing interdental plaque.
Using AirFloss with mouthwash will enhance your oral health results and leave you with an even fresher feeling mouth. Most mouthwashes can be used in the AirFloss. However, mouthwashes containing Isopropyl Myristate should not be used in the AirFloss as this can harm the plastics in the device and possibly even cause loss of function.
Yes. The Airfloss can now deliver mouthwash or water in two ways. For the single burst function, press and release the activation button for a single burst of air and micro-droplets of mouthwash or water between the teeth. Alternatively, press and hold the activation button to deliver a sequence of consecutive bursts of mouthwash or water at a rate of approximately 1 per second.
Bleeding gums may be a sign of infection and a little bleeding can be normal when starting a new oral care routine, as you may be cleaning in areas not previously reached. However, if bleeding is excessive or does not stop within a few days of regular use of AirFloss, consult a dental professional.
