Advanced anti burn-in functions to prevent ghost images
A protective function called "pixel shift" has been implemented. When the protection mechanism is activated the screen image automatically shifts its pixel positions to prevent "image ghosting". Secondly, burn-in recovery has been implemented. Depending on the model, ghost images are removed by applying a full white signal on the whole panel for a certain amount of time or by reversing the image to achieve the same result.
Motion compensated deinterlacing
Motion compensated deinterlacing employs a smart deinterlacing algorithm that uses the images in a digital memory to measure and estimate the motion speed and direction of objects to create new fields with corrected motion positions so video content has perfectly smooth, judder-free and razor-sharp moving images.
Extremely high contrast (10000:1) and brightness (1500 cd/m²)
High brightness and contrast values are extremely beneficial in public environments where lighting conditions are variable and often beyond control.
3D combfilter separates colours for a razor-sharp image
The 3D combfilter separates brightness and colour signals better in 3D domain to eliminate cross-colour, cross-luminance and dot-crawl distortion - all of which detract from your viewing pleasure. The 3D digital combfilter performs field-by-field comparisons of the television image to accurately separate the colour from the black-and-white information and remove both horizontally and vertically hanging dots, as well as dot crawl. The result is a razor sharp image.
Monitor is network controllable for remote management
Network controllability allows user to control and adjust monitors remotely through RS232 protocol.
Built-in TV tuner
Some applications need more than PC inputs. The RF tuner for television signal reception and the video connectors, including s-video, scart and component video, offer a wide choice of input possibilities for multiple devices.
