Anti-clipping function for loud, distortion-free music

Anti-Clipping lets you play music louder and keeps the quality high, even when the battery is low. It accepts input signals from 300 mV to 1000 mV and keeps your speakers safe from damage by distortion. This speaker handles anti-clipping through a dedicated audio limiter IC. This monitors the musical signal as it goes through the amplifier and keeps peaks within the amp's range, preventing the audio distortion caused by clipping without affecting loudness. A speaker's ability to reproduce musical peaks decreases along with battery power, but anti-clipping reduces peaks caused by low battery.

Very pleased with this product

I use this for travel and when sat in the garden etc. Very pleased with the sound quality for music and speech. Quite compact and not to heavy. Overall very good value. The battery holds its charge very well when not in use for extended periods.

Goed geluid, zonder vervorming bij hoger volume

Het apparaat heb ik inmiddels een jaar in gebruik. Het geluid is erg goed, zelfs als je het apparaat hard zet. Ook dan geen bijgeluiden of ruis. Wat dat betreft voldoet de speaker aan alle verwachtingen. Zowel draadloos als bedraad (aan notebook) geen problemen. Minpunt vind ik wel de levensduur van de accu. In het begin kon hij een paar uur zonder externe voeding functioneren. Nu moet hij eigenlijk constant aan de externe voeding
