In general not. Please find here some exceptions: Switch mode power supplies, power saving bulbs, halogen lamps, brush motors (vacuum cleaners, mixers etc), yielding machines and surge suppressors are more susceptible to generate interference and downgrade the performance of the Powerline throughput.
