Knowing when to change the teat on your baby’s bottle comes down to two key things:teat flow andgeneral wear and tear.
Most teats are labelled according to a baby’s age, but it’s really only an indication. If you notice your little one is spluttering or tensing during feeds, it might be a sign they need a teat with a slower flow.
Once you’ve found a teat your little one is comfortable with, it’s best to change bottle teats every 3 monthsto ensure they remain in good condition. If you spot a crack anywhere, you’ll need to change it over straight away.
