The 3D digital combfilter performs field-by-field comparisons of the television image to accurately separate the colour from the black-and-white information and remove both horizontally and vertically hanging dots, as well as dot crawl. Motion compensated deinterlacing
Motion compensated deinterlacing employs a smart deinterlacing algorithm that uses the images in a digital memory to measure and estimate the motion speed and direction of objects to create new fields with corrected motion positions so video content has perfectly smooth, judder-free and razor-sharp moving images.
