I was excited to use this product, as some who shaves and hates waxing, the idea of having to do less is appealing. What I really like is with having only done one session I can already tell that hair is not growing back as quickly, which is a win. I was not expecting that much or that clear an improvement with one session, but it did work for me. The device is easy to hold, a bit like a scanner in a shop, and is easy to hold at the right angle to work. It looks really bulky but was actually very comfortable to use. I am also glad of app as it made it so much easier track when to use and helped with putting the right setting for it. I also think everyone thinks laser treatment is painful, but there honestly was no pain. If the device did not flash I’d have thought that it has not work. I also really like the little cleaning cloth for the attachments, which for some reason is not mentioned anywhere. I guess the one thing I do not like, is the amount of time it takes to fully use the device if you’re going for full body. You do have to set time aside to do this, so if I am rushing, then this is something that will go by the wayside. However I am really pleased with the results so far and for areas like underarms and face this is super quick to use. I am looking forward to seeing more results.

I was very skeptical using the Phillips Lumea IPL. I was scared it would hurt but it honestly doesn't. I am now on treatment 2 and I've found it so beneficial in making my hairs come through weaker! I'm a woman of age so have a stubborn hair growing from my chin but in just 2 weeks it's dramatically reduced. The hair is thinner and growing so much slower. Equally my leg, underarm and bikini area is doing fantastic, I think another few treatments and I'll have barely any hair at all. The app is fantastic and guides you through treatment, it even has a skin analysis so you can check your progress. The actual appliance glides across skin and is a dream to work with. The different heads covers all areas. I honestly am absolutely blown away, me at a grown age is so disappointed I haven't purchased a Phillips Lumea before. You are definitely missing out!

Firstly, I want to say how absolutely nervous I was to try the Phillips Lumea!!😬 I’ve never had any laser hair removal treatments done before, so had no idea what to expect. I opened the box and was immediately impressed. Everything comes beautifully packaged in a gorgeous case, with different attachments for different areas of the body, so everything stays together and neat. I downloaded the app and thought, right, let’s give this a go! And honestly the app is brilliant. It gives you really useful information to get started, keeps track of your treatment dates, reminds you when your next treatment is due and even helps with your settings. I’ve done two treatments so far and I kid you not I can already see it working. I started on my lower legs and it really was a breeze. It only took a few minutes per leg, and as you go through the process the app guides you along so you don’t miss any spots. And the pain?!! WHAT PAIN?!!! 😂 It genuinely felt like I wasn’t doing anything at all so not uncomfortable at all. When you think about the initial treatments being every two weeks, gradually becoming less frequent and eventually just needing maintenance treatments. The amount of time it takes is absolutely worth it for smooth skin. It’s honestly incredible when you think about how much time we spend shaving, waxing and dealing with all the irritation, when something like this can make such a big difference! I also did my underarms and it literally took 40 seconds. That’s less time than it takes to shave. And another huge perk for me, no razor burn, nicks and no more strawberry legs. For me this is genuinely an incredible device. I can’t imagine going back to my old hair removal routine now. I really can’t praise the Phillips Lumea enough ❤️

I am brown hair, fair skin tone, used it twice and already and can see my hair getting thinner. There's 4 different changeable heads to accommodate different parts of the body, which is great as mine old one just had one singular flash and it was too harsh to use for sensitive skin, so this is just great addition. Comes in a beautiful box to keep it in.

Wow!!! I was honestly so impressed with how easy this IPL was to use. Especially for my first time using it! The setup was really straightforward forward and took seconds, the app makes everything so simple by talking you through exactly was to do, which I found really helpful. It was also really quick to use? Even on areas like my underarms, bikini like and lower legs. The different attachments are suck a good idea for them hard to reach areas. The device was comfortable to hold and really easy to move around. The actual treatment was completely pain free for me, I didn’t feel any pain on my skin whatsoever, which made the whole experience so much more pleasurable and easier than expected. Overall, I am really happy with how simple and hassle-free this device was and I’m super excited to finally be on my IPL journey, really looking forward to seeing the results!

The packaging for the Philips Lumea 9900 PRO BRC244 is really very great, it feels like a luxury item, not like normal beauty devices. It comes in a big box and inside you get a beautiful beige luxury case with everything packed neatly in soft velvet. It is a corded device , I actually preferred this type of device because you get consistent power and you don’t have to worry about the battery dying in mid session , So that the good point . Before first use you have to charge it and download the Philips Lumea app. The app is really helpful, it asks your skin and hair colour and makes a personal plan and reminds you when to do the next session. Then you put the right head for that area, the machine knows which head it is. You turn it on and put it on your skin, it has a sensor called SenselQ that checks your skin and tells you what power to use, I get 4 for legs and 3 for bikini. You put it flat on your skin and press the button, for legs you hold and slide slowly, for small areas you just press and lift. It only flashes if it touches skin properly. It reminds you to test your skin first - do a patch test on a small area, wait 24 hours, check your skin, and then start your full treatment. I have done 2 sessions in 2 weeks, so this is a very early review. I know best results will not show in 2 weeks, Philips says you need 4 sessions every 2 weeks and then monthly touch ups, most people see real difference after 6-8 weeks and full smooth skin after 12 weeks. After first session I saw zero change, hair came back normal. After second session this week I can see small change, my leg hair is growing slower, normally I get stubble after 1 day, now after 2-3 days and it feels softer. Underarms look a bit patchy with less hair. What I like most is I don't have to shave every day, no more dark shadow, no more strawberry legs, no more ingrown hairs, itching and red bumps, no more waxing pain. I can do it at home anytime, no need to book salon. Long term it saves money because salon laser is very expensive and this does full body for years. What I don't like is it gets hot after 10-15 minutes so you need a short break, the flash is very bright and can give headache, and it takes more than 30 minutes for full legs plus underarms so you need patience. You have to be regular every 2 weeks then monthly. Even with just 2 weeks I'm happy and hopeful, my skin is happier because I'm not shaving daily and the packaging and device quality is excellent.

Would be a great product if I didn't have so many tattoos. The fact you cannot use it on tattooed skin makes it difficult for me . It works really well on my under arms and bikini line . It did shock me when it first flashed as I wasn't expecting it to be so bright , I did feel heat coming off more than I expected as well . Very easy to remove and replace the different clips for different parts of my body . Once you get used to the pressure you need to apply it's very easy to use , although it is a slow process. I will keep using it but only on my under arms and bikini line.

Ik ben ontzettend blij dat ik de Philips Lumea BRC344 mocht testen! 🤍 Ik had al ervaring met een ouder model van Philips en was daar eigenlijk altijd al heel tevreden over, dus ik was extra benieuwd naar deze vernieuwde Lumea. Ik heb een lichte huid en donker haar en dat is natuurlijk een hele fijne combinatie voor dit apparaat. Ik heb de Lumea inmiddels op verschillende lichaamsdelen getest en zie overal al duidelijk resultaat. Dat maakt me eerlijk gezegd best enthousiast om ermee door te gaan! Wat ik fijn vind, is dat het apparaat qua formaat en gewicht prettig in de hand ligt. Hij is makkelijk te gebruiken en je bent daardoor zonder gedoe snel klaar. De Lumea werkt met een kabeltje, waardoor je tijdens het gebruik gewoon continu stroom hebt. Zelf vind ik dat eigenlijk wel prettig: je hoeft tussendoor niet na te denken over een lege batterij. Nadeel, je moet wel ergens nabij een stroompunt comfortabel kunnen zitten. De behandelingen vind ik over het algemeen redelijk pijnloos. Je voelt wel een korte warmteprikkel, maar dat is voor mij prima te doen. Op dunnere stukjes huid kan het soms wat vervelend aanvoelen, maar gelukkig is dat maar heel kort. Ook de app vind ik echt een fijne toevoeging. Hij werkt prettig en overzichtelijk en helpt je om je behandelingen goed bij te houden. Kortom: ik ben tot nu toe heel positief over de Philips Lumea BRC344. De combinatie van gebruiksgemak, de fijne app en de resultaten die ik nu al zie, maakt dat ik hem met veel plezier blijf gebruiken. En natuurlijk ben ik ontzettend dankbaar dat ik de kans heb gekregen om dit product te testen! 🤍

Deze ontharingsapparaat van Philips is heel fijn en makkelijk in gebruik. Accu gaat een lange tijd mee en geluid is niet te hard. Het heeft meerdere opzetstukken en je kunt het makkelijk opbergen.

Toen ik bericht kreeg dat ik dit mocht testen, werd ik echt dolgelukkig! 😄 Ik wilde zoiets al zo graag eens proberen dus ik kon echt niet wachten. De eerste indruk was al meteen “wow” want het zit in een hele mooie, luxe opbergbox. Daardoor is het ook nog eens leuk om gewoon in de badkamer of zo neer te zetten. Het komt met 4 opzetstukken die allemaal geschikt zijn voor een ander deel van je lichaam. Je hoeft hem niet op te laden want er zit een snoer aan. Hierdoor heb je misschien wel iets minder bewegingsruimte maar hij is daarentegen wel altijd meteen klaar voor gebruik. Het snoer heeft trouwens een goede lengte dus ik heb hier nooit last van ondervonden. Er zitten 5 standen op. Ik zou aanraden om op de laagste stand te beginnen en zo te kijken welke stand voor jou het meest comfortabel is maar ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik zelfs de hoogste stand niet pijnlijk vindt. Ja, je voelt er wel iets van. Het is een soort warmte op je huid maar dat is echt maar een fractie van een seconde en dan verdwijnt het gevoel ook meteen weer. Je kunt ook een app installeren die jou een reminder stuurt wanneer je weer kunt gaan laseren maar dit is geen must hoor dus mocht je daar geen behoefte aan hebben dan is het niet zo dat alles alleen via die app gaat, het apparaat is ook prima zonder app te gebruiken. Zelf vind ik de reminder nu nog wel handig. Ik heb hem nog niet heel vaak gebruikt maar ik heb echt het idee dat mijn haar nu al minder en minder snel terugkomt 😮 Ik heb hier echt niets slechts over te zeggen; makkelijk in gebruik (eerst de huid scheren en dan kan je meteen beginnen - je hoeft geen olie of lotion oid erbij te gebruiken, dit apparaat is genoeg), altijd meteen klaar voor gebruik door het snoer, snel - de laser geeft door een lampje aan wanneer het goed op de huid zit (wanneer het opzetstuk niet volledig contact maakt met de huid, kan je niet laseren dus dat is heel goed en veilig) en de lasers kunnen elkaar ook heel snel opvolgen dus je bent helemaal niet lang bezig, en persoonlijk vind ik hem ook pijnloos. Echt helemaal geweldig! Ik ben hier echt ontzettend blij mee en ik zou hem dan ook zeker iedereen aanraden.
