    Published on 2019-09-10

You try to display the resolution 1024 x 768 and still do not get picture or a distorted picture on the TV. This is due to the PC-setting:

    1. Go to the desktop of your PC
    2. Click right. The desktop menu appears.
    3. Go to PROPERTIES and click left. The monitor settings menu appears.
    4. Un-ticker the box “Hide modes that this monitor cannot display”
    • On the PC: Select a valid PC-format the TV can handle (640x480@60Hz ; 800x600@60Hz or 1024x768@60Hz) and the video formats (720p 1080i)
    • And switch the PC off
    • Use a DVI-to-HDMI connection cable to make a connection between DVI of the PC and the HDMI of the TV
    • Switch the TV on and select the connected HDMI source
    • Go to menu and select source type PC
    • Put the PictureFormat in AutoFormat
    • Switch the PC on
    • Depending on the graphical card, operating system, configuration, … the TV shows the PC-screen
    • Connect also an SPDIF audio signal to the TV via cable
    • Link the Digital Audio In to the correct HDMI external source input
    • Alternative: Connect an analog audio signal to the TV and link the Analog Audio In to the correct HDMI external source input
