    How to use the Steam or Steam&Airfry functions of my Philips Airfryer

    Learn how to set up your Philips Airfryer and use the Steam(1) or Steam&Airfry(2) functions in the sections below.

    Cooking with Steam function following the food table

    1. How to prepare:

    • Remove the water tank from the appliance and fill it without exceeding the MAX level indication.
    • Secure the lid and place the tank properly to avoid issues.
    • Place the water tank onto the groove at the top of the appliance and ensure that it is secured in place.
    • Place the device 20 cm from the wall, and do not position the air outlet directly in front of the socket.

    2. Setting up the pan and basket:

    • Remove the big pan with the basket, then place the basket into the big pan.
    • Add ingredients to the basket following the food table (see the food table below) for quantities and cooking times.

    3. How to start cooking:

    • Insert the pan back into the Airfryer.
    • Press the Power On/Off button and select the big pan.
    • Then select the Steam function and adjust the time and temperature as needed (see the food table below).
    • Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cooking process.

    4. During cooking you can:

    • Shake the pan when prompted.
    • Adjust settings if needed.

    5. The food is ready:

    • Check if ingredients are ready when the timer bell rings. If they are not, slide the basket back in and add a few extra minutes.
    • Remove ingredients carefully using barbecue tongs.

    Important:

    • Do not tilt the pan when removing the ingredients, as the basket could fall out and water may splash.
    • After the cooking process, the pan, the basket, the interior housing and the ingredients are hot.
    • Depending on the type of ingredients in the Airfryer, steam may escape from the pan.

    Cooking with Steam function using presets

    To use a preset with the Steam Function, follow the same steps as above (Cooking with Steam Function following the food table), and after selecting the Steam function, press one of the presets to select it. Then press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.

    In the table below, you can see the default Temperature and Time of each preset as well as some tips when using them.

    5. The food is ready:

    • Check if ingredients are ready when the timer bell rings. If they are not, slide the basket back in and add a few extra minutes.

    Important:

    • Do not touch the pan or the basket during and for some time after use, as they get very hot.
