Have owned the 42pfl6907t/12 since jan 2013. It's been perfect until the sub woofer started to rattle on certain low tones. Philips have been amazing undetected 5 year warranty and an engineer checked it over confirming the fault. I just received a call today saying that the speaker is on a 50 day back order! So Philips are replacing the tv with a. 47pfl6907t/12 now that's what I call service. My previous Philips tv lasted for 15 years!

Researched many Tvs before buying this & have never regretted chosing this TV. Great picture for TV & gaming, Ambilight feature is great, styling is great too. Sound is good for thin screen, & no soundbar is needed though sometimes loud & deep bass sounds can cause a little vibration. Smart TV functions are good but remote could make it slow to navigate options for others, but good enough for me. Love this TV.

Bought the Philips 42PFL6907T/12 on 07/10/2013 and I haven't been disappointed with its performance so far. It was money well spent. This is a Great tv! Picture quality is outstanding with strong colours and sharp images, especially when shown in HD. Sound is extremely good for something so thin. There is plenty of detail. Speech is very clear and music sounds fantastic with very strong solid bass to add depth to those action movies. The smart side of it isn't bad but could be better. The internet does run a little bit slow and there's not as many apps as some TV's. However the Sound and Picture quality do make up to this. I would recommend this TV to anyone, it's a great product and looks really stylish too.

I bought this to replace a 2nd generation plasma non hd tv. The features and ease of use of this tv are great. The picture quality is brilliant. I had been concerned as some reviews commented that there was significant light bleed down each side. I can't say I've noticed any. The ambilight really does give you a sense of space around the picture it is only when you switch it off you notice what a difference it makes. Available for a good discounted price I heartily recommend it.

voorheen had ik een gewone beeldbuis tv en kreeg ik last van men ogen , met dit type toestel is het terug genieten om naar series of films te kijken . Onlangs ook een home-cinema systeem er op aangesloten van Philips en nu heb ik een echte bioscoop thuis .

Very pleased with this TV. Excellent quality sound and vision - would happily buy Philips again (present set is my second).

Het is een mooie televisie met een fenomenaal mooi beeld. Door zijn enorme hoeveelheid mogelijkheden is het af en toe even zoeken maar met geduld en logisch denken kom je een eind. Alleen de WII van de kinderen heb ik tot op heden nog niet zuiver op het scherm gekregen. Ga nu op advies van customer-care een Scartadapter kopen. Hoop dat het dan wel werkt.
