10 years from purchase and still going strong no problems within that time. love Philips ambilight. now just purchasing my next Philips TV 55oled803. hopefully the same great reliability and enjoyement. review to follow

I watched the reviews and the results of tests very carefully before deciding to purchase this unit. My final decision was based on the reports relating to the overall quality of the sound compared to most of the other flat screen manufacturers. I have not been disappointed, I liked the idea of the "ambilight" system but find that I am so absorbed by the quality of the actual screen I very rarely use it. It was not top of the Philips range but still represented excellent value for money and to date has given me fault-free viewing. I use it quite often as a monitor for the BBC iplayer from my laptop through the HDMI input on the side. Thank you Philips for another "winner from your stable of products"!

Selecting first of all by viewing the picture I got it down to two different makes, that seemed equally good, but I am fussy about good quality sound and on that score the Philips was a clear winner. Two years later I am certain that I made the right choice.

You tube is so simple my kids can manage. Picture quality overall great. Sound is good. Only thing I missing is recording video, maybe on USB. Switching cannels a little faster. And if internet would support flash player. I need no more. p.s. And for the end Remote control on android is future expirience I love it.

I have it already a year and very satisfied with ease of use. Also, it has many connectors and it is great to see photos from camera or flash cards. Ambilight function is just beautiful!
