Impressive TV with Amazing Ambilight
The TV was packed incredibly well, and setup was a breeze: just screw in two screws for each leg. Once it was plugged in, there was some initial setup to do and a firmware update. When that was done, wow, what a great picture! Once you turn off motion smoothing, it gets even better. I would have preferred Google TV as the OS, but Titan OS is noticeably better than on any old TV. Navigation on the home page is smart, and the streaming apps are easy to set up. The picture quality is fantastic, with great colour detail, superb contrast and brightness. The sound from the TV is as expected; you need a soundbar with modern TVs. The HDMI inputs are a little awkward to access, but port 4 is conveniently on the side of the TV. The big feature of this TV is Ambilight. I personally really like it, and on this new TV it works even better, with more subtle colour differences from the TV image. The 120Hz gaming refresh rate works really well, with low input lag and no screen tearing. It’s a great value-for-money TV with a good picture and amazing Ambilight.
