Blu-ray Disc player

set up is easy straightforward and within a couple of minutes up and running and ready to play whatever you throw at it, for the price, there is no better blu ray player on the market, sound and picture are far superior to philips older blu ray models, very smooth picture, sound is as good as any mid priced player (£250-£450 mark) only niggles are 1) wifi for blu ray seems very slow (might not machines fault, just general BD live seems like this) 2) manual in book is wrong if you want to conncet this player through the multi anologue conncetions, the surrounds need to be plugged from the left and right surround mode, and not (like it says in manual) the back surrounds, done this way, you only get limited surround sound and not full surround sound these little gripes aside, for the price, you cant beat this gem of an allrounder

excellent product. can use for normal dvd except for subtitling on normal dvd, subtitling seems a bit blured but never the less extremly satisfied with product.

Tactile feel, great finish. Looks very rich and the Touch controls-really a great feature! What is mor interesting is the quality of video even with ordynary prints! Blueray prints were looking great. The 7.1 Audio was a class apart. Great value for money! I bought it in Chennai, India! It is a great product,in real Philips class!!

This equipment is totally trouble-free to use. On screen menus are self-explanatory. I use this (at present) with one of the first generation, HD-enabled Philips LCD televisions. I have (yet) to try a Blu-Ray Disc in the unit and I use the on-board Dolby Virtual speaker system. Notwithstanding these facts; it could not be more apparent the considerable improvements in both audio and video quality. A great advance and (certainly) value for money besides.

Super! Snel, stil, scherp beeld en gebruiksvriendelijk! Wat mij betreft een aanrader!

Dit product samen gebruikt op een 32PFL9705H/12 en nu de 37PFL9606H/12 televisie tot volle tevredenheid. Laatje openen DVD er in, sluiten en hij start, als je bv na 20 min. stopt en de volgende dag weer start dan wordt gevraagd om verder te gaan waar hij was gebleven of om helemaal opnieuw te starten. Het enige nadeel is dat als je definitief stopt en weer tv wilt gaan kijken, wat je daarvoor ook deed, hij niet geheel automatisch terug keert naar de tv maar dit moet doen via de source knop op de home knop op de afstandsbediening (het ei). Uiteraard speelt hij Blu-ray discs af met een geweldige kwaliteit op mijn full-hd scherm.

een groot verschil met mijn oude dvd speler. ik heb voornamelijk nog dvd s. de speler heeft scherper beeld en kleur en werkt ook lekker snel met bedienen de afwerking is ook mooi ik heb van de aankoop totaal geen spijt van kortom het is een mooi aparaatvan philips
