Philips' innovative Music Zone technology lets the driver and the passengers enjoy their music with more vivid spatial effect, just as the artist intended it to be heard. Users can easily switch the music listening zones from the driver to the passengers and back again to get the best sonic focus in the car. A dedicated zone control button provides three pre-defined settings - Left, Right and Front (and All) - so you can best match your listening needs easily and dynamically alone or with your passengers.
Activate the Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB), and the low-end bass frequencies are electronically enhanced to achieve consistent sound reproduction, especially when the speaker volume is set at a low level. You hear impressive bass at all times.

Good reasonably priced feature rich stereo.
I have found this stereo to be a good build quality. The fascia clips on well, feels like it will stand the test of time and there are no fiddly clips. It clips on nice and firm. The buttons are of average size to most stereos. Using the max capacity of both the USB slots and the SD you can have up to 96GB of music at hand which will keep anyone going for a while. Also with that amount of music you dont even find it hard to find what you want to listen to as long as you keep a neat file structure. By far my favourite feature is the Dynamic Bass Boost button. It goes from sounding quite normal to bass heavy with one press. Ive noticed that it sometimes is not suitable for some tunes which already have heavy bass. It makes your average car speakers sound like they've been modded. Also try to get your MP3s as higher bit rate as you can. Go for 320 kbps. The Bluetooth phone feature is easy to use. Just make sure you have your phone clipped to the windscreen with a bracket facing you so the person on the other end can hear you. It works really well. I found the music coming from a BT connection to be of lower quality than playing directly from either the USB or SD slots. The analogue and DAB radio is amazing quality and feature rich as long a you have it connected to the correct aerials. Ive not had a problem with the display myself but I can see you might depending on which angle your stereo compartment is located. Overall I would defiantly buy this stereo if you're living in the digital age.

approach with caution - it might suit you
I bought this for two reasons - cost, Bluetooth/Phone feature. Radio (analogue) great, better than what I had before, Cost, well priced Bluetooth feature is good for music playback and for listening to calls but for the person talking to you has difficulty hearing you, it is really frustrating, frustratingly the buttons are tiny as are the markings and the brochure describes the display as high contrast but you need to be looking at it straight on - it really is pants! so in conclusion - if the display is important and you need a good mic to make calls look for another unit, cause this will drive you mad!
