DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) digital radio is a new way of broadcasting radio, in addition to FM analogue transmission, via a network of terrestrial transmitters. It provides listeners with more choices and information delivered in clear and crackle-free sound quality. The technology allows the receiver to lock on to the strongest signal it can find. With DAB digital stations there are no frequencies to remember, and sets are tuned by station name, so there is no retuning on the move.

Very pleased
We are very pleased with the Dock for iPod DAB Component micro music system. The dock and speakers fit neatly on our bookshelf. The dock is easy to use and the sound good. We had viewed this earlier in the day at our local Curry's store but they were out of stock. I would definitely use the Phillips on line store again.

Best appliance in the kitchen.
Very satisfied with the performance and at present is the best appliance in the kitchen. Replaced a much more expensive item and gives the same performance.

Great bass for such a small system
This little system delivers a meaty bass and punches well above its weight for such a small system. The ipod dock would be handy for some but I'm not into restrictive DRM and as such love the USB feature. The DAB is crystal clear and even the FM sounds top notch. Design wise it looks lovely and highly stylised. It looks great sitting in my sitting room. The blue LED display is a tad small to be legibly read from a distance but it's no big deal as the counter to that is that it is not distracting by throwing bluish light everywhere. As good as any overpriced rivals.
