An excellent way to access the digital sound from your ipod
This is the easiest way to integrate an iPod into a home cinema system. Great remote and crisp, easy to navigate menus along with great sound quality make this a great iPod dock. Most docks output analogue sound from your iPod, the DLA99901 take the digital data and either converts it using it's higher quality DAC or sends it to your own choice of DAC using HDMI or optical out. It gives you and everyone in the room access to your iPod library from the comfort of your sofa.

incompatible with Home entertainment controller (redeye)
Doesnt sync well. Much too slow. Remote control capability does not work with Redeye. Very annoying. Could be so much better.
