Philips Norelco 7000 SeriesElectric shaver

This electric shaver is great. enjoy using in the shower and have never managed to use an electric with any frequency or longevity, but this razor is just the ticket.

I have been very happy with all aspects since buying it last December. I have got a Philishave 870 which is still in working order - just need some new heads for it - are they still available?. Can you suggest where I could get some?

found no problems with it at all. theonly thing for the razor was that it sis,nt have a case with it like they used to.

This is the first shaver I have had which follows the contours of my face so closely, thereby always giving me an excellent shave

Up to now I cannot find anything to criticise this kettle for. It looks good, boils quickly, is easy to fill with good markings for the amount required and is fairly quiet. All round a good product.

Très bon rasoir, contrairement à mon précédent, il n'arrache pas les poils de 3 jours. Très efficace, il est également très rapide. Petite critique: le chargeur et son fil trop rigide (un fil type combiné téléphonique serait mieux) et il manque un coffret pour le ranger.

There is no doubt in my mind that Philips make the best electric razors. Beautifully designed, well-built, with a quiet motor, they produce a good close shave. I am not convinced that the blades will last two years before needing to be replaced but that is the only adverse criticism I can make. Spraying the blades with a specialist razor cleaner from time to time helps keep the razor in tip-top condition, this in addition to rinsing after use in hot water.

This is an excellent electric shaver that gives a "good as a blade" shave. The only disappointing thing is that the sideburns trimmer is nowhere as effective as it should be and you end up using a blade to trim sideburns properly anyway!

When using after a shower and there is a little "drag" on my skin due to the dampness, the shaver is so light that it is not as efficient as earlier, heavier models. Otherwise, a very good shave.

It is clear that the staff who designed this shaver know the true requirements. The close shave is first rate, this is surely as a result of very easy handling, the contour is excellent, the heads follow the face without any problems.The battery life is also very good with the added advantage that the recharge time is very sensible. Cleaning and general maintainance does not present any problem issues. Overall this shaver is a very good product from Philips.
