I have this shaver 13 years ago and never change the blades, the blades keep cutting like the first day, I have only replaced the charger. I recommend it 100%.

This is the best all round shaver I’ve ever had. Never let me down anywhere. And a smooth finish says it all. But hey that’s what I expect from the best of the best names In shaving. Philips you know you can trust.

I've had this HQ9140 Shaver for 12 years now, noticed it's a bit dull so I'll go and get new heads today. That's right 12 YEARS before I changed the blades!! Philips has been my brand since I started shaving 40 years ago - keep up the excellent engineering and design.

I have had this 9140 for several years and it has maintained it's rechargeable battery life. The cutting is only slightly less efficient than it was. I am about to replace the head unit as the clips securing the rotary heads have failed - but this is the first time I've changed the cutters! As with my previous Philips shaver, I would firmly recommend it.

I have this model for few years now, it is easy to use, to clean and take care. I use it almost everyday, till now the original buttery is still good. The blades were repalce once a year and it is shave me like butter. I recommend with all my heart.

Ho sempre usato rasoi Philips, ho acquistato questo modello nel Marzo 2006 e per me è stato il migliore che io abbia avuto, sia come rasatura che come durata di carica. Nel Dicembre 2015 ho acquistato un PT 919/16 ma, pur avendo lo stesso tipo di testine, le HQ9, non si è dimostrato all'altezza del precedente e avevo passato le testine sul vecchio HQ9140. Non riuscendo più a trovare le testine HQ9, nel Luglio 2019, ho acquistato un S9041/13, anche se l'estetica del modello non mi piaceva affatto. All'inizio sembrava funzionasse bene, adesso sembra che strappi la barba. La carica della batteria dura a mala pena una settimana. Ho trovato disponibili, in rete, le testine HQ9 ma, purtroppo, mi si è rotto uno dei tre perni di traino sul rasoio. Mi chiedo come mai, quando si arriva a produrre un oggetto valido, se ne abbandoni la produzione.

Great idea to have washable head. Shaves well for about 15 months, then struggles. I am on my first set of replacement blades and probably will need to replace soon (19 months use). Blades are very pricey.

Wenn mit Schaum oder Gel rasiert wird, ist das Ergebnis perfekt. Trocken war mein Philips mit den kleineren Scherköpfen wesentlich besser, auch das wechseln von Scherköpfen mit dem Langhaarschneider ist umständlich. Ansonsten gibt es keine Kritik.
