Jamie Oliver Cutting tower

I was original and bought this instead of your regular type food processor / grater. I used it for many years and it's still in perfect condition (beside the disc that broke after recent misuse - pressing full force).

In one word perfect!! I have used manual & automatic slicers and this is by far the best I have used!

I have this product to use alongside the Philips HomeCooker however, I can see it will be used as a stand alone product as well as it is so efficient. It has 5 cutting disks, fine shredding, coarse shredding, fine slicing, coarse slicing and julienne. If you like to bulk cook it would really make very short work of your vegetable preparation.

Wow, the Philips Jamie Oliver Chopping Tower, makes quick work of anything needing chopped, cut, sliced or grated. This sits perfectly at the side of the Philips homecooker and fires all that's been cut/chopped straight into the steel bowl. It has 5 attachments, 2 that slice (thick or thin#, 2 for shredding #medium or course) and 1 for cutting julienne. The Tower offers 2 speed settings. This Chopping Tower is priceless, as all I had to do was wash the vegetables, then push them down the feeding tube to be chopped. Unbelieveable! All the vegetables for 1 large pot of soup were in the pot within 2 mins. It made easy work of the carrots, celery, onions and turnup. I've also used it to shred salad, cheese, salami and parsnip. Makes light work of everything it deals with. A fantastic gadget for the kitchen and one I wouldn't want to be without!

Having tried out the HomeCooker this evening I found it both easy to set up and use. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I followed the Creamy Chicken Korma and Coconut Rice and the Boozy Chocolate and Cherry Fondue recipes from the book that was supplied with the machine. I was able to prepare my vegetables straight from the cutting tower into the HomeCooker with minimal effort on my part! The pre-set temperature buttons and the digital dial timer controls make the cooker easy to set up. The easy-to-see digital display counts down the remaining cooking time, then when your food is ready the cooker beeps. The cable stores away neatly in the base. We used the push button temperature and timer buttons with very good results. In my opinion speedy dinners are guaranteed. The HomeCooker comes with a great Jamie Oliver inspired recipe book, has a Stainless Steel pan and dishwasher safe cooking steamers and trays. My wife and I cook from scratch for a few major reasons; firstly it’s tastier – than either processed convenience food or most restaurants, we can recreate meals we’ve liked, and it’s enjoyable. Secondly, it’s a way to spend time together, away from the computers where we spend our working days, doing something that feels real and it’s healthier. We also enjoy having friends over for dinner – for us, it’s easier and more enjoyable than convincing people to go out to eat. We generally try to have friends over for dinner about once a month; it’s an enjoyable night in. The HomeCooker will certainly get people cooking together and at home! Both main course and desert were BIG successes and I would definately recommend the HomeCooker!

This Cutting Tower is a worthy addition to any kitchen. It looks stylish and performs a wide range of cutting tasks excellently, whether slicing, grating or cutting julienne. There are actually 5 different cutting discs. It's also easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to clean. But for me, the best bit is that it is exactly the right size to cut the veggies into the HomeCooker. PERFECT!

We bought this product to go with the homecooker. We don't use the tower cutter every day but we do use it. The machine is easy to use and the blades are really easy to take in and out, blades are very sharp. The cutting tower does an ok job but not perfect. I feel that the blade needs to sit a little lower in the machine to give a more thorough cut and so that not so much food is left spinning around the top missing the blade, also the food can sometimes get a bit clogged up in the exit chute. This appears to be a small design fault which I'm sure could be easily rectified. It is very easy to clean though which helps.

My first thoughts were...'wow, it looks fab'....its a funky design and looks great in my kitchen!! Theres a few bits and pieces to it....which at first was a bit fiddly getting the right blade in place....but after 5 minutes practise it was easy peasy!! Its simple to use #even I got the hang of it in the end!#, and makes an easy job of my most hated job...chopping and grating! No more grated knuckles or wonky slices...this makes you look like a pro in the kitchen!!! Its all easy to put take apart and clean...and doesnt take up much room - always a blessing in my poky little kitchen!! The only downside I would say is the cost...but mine was a 'gift' so its all good to me!!!

sieht zierlich aus, hat aber bisher alles klein bekommen was ich einfüllte! Nur 4 Sterne, wegen der Reinigung (es bleibt immer etwas innen an der Scheibe) Ergebnisse gut + große Auswahl an mitgelieferten Einsätzen, ist für alle Zwecke etwas dabei Benutze ihn als Ergänzung zu meinem TM5 - da dieser nicht raspeln bzw schneiden kann!
