Philips Sonicare AirFloss Pro/UltraRechargeable powered interdental cleaner

This was bought as a replacement as the first died. Unfortunately in the space of 4 weeks we have had to have 3 replacements as they have all stopped working. Bought from Boots, they have been extremely good regarding the replacements so so far the last replacement is continuing to work however we have only had it a week. I think there must of been a bad batch as the item is excellent.

This was my first experience of using Philips airfloss and I loved the powerful, deep clean feeling that I had after using the product. It's easy to use as it automatically blows more air if you hold the button down as you move through your mouth, and the nozzle made it easy to get between my teeth and reach the back of my mouth.

This is a great flosser, I have used others in the past but this one was much better. Has different pressure settings so you can choose which one you want. You notice a real difference and your teeth feel much cleaner. Also looks good and is lightweight so it's easy to use.

I have been amazed during my time using this device; it is something I would and have recommended to family and friends. Even my husband has been converted after hating the usual inter-dental cleaning methods. SET UP: It was very easy to set up and use there was no hassle. After reading the instructions, it even tells you how to position your lips/mouth - which was a massive advantage; when the first attempt was in front of a mirror with my mouth slightly open (not a good idea). Along with very good, eye catching diagrams that are easy to use and follow. CHARGE: I am amazed; I have been using the airfloss now for about 14 days, twice a day (plus the same for my converted husband) and I have yet had to recharge it. It is still as powerful as the first time I used it and doesn't appear to be slowing/showing any signs of needing a recharge any time soon. FEEL: Very good feel to it, along with a very nice hold in the hand; light and comfortable. Further to this it is very clear when the water/mouthwash is empty and the chamber closes with a nice click; to add there are no leaks, drips or spills. However, emptying the the mouthwash into the chamber was not an issue but it was quiet hard to adjust the tap speed for the water to enter this tiny chamber without causing unnecessary spills. IDEAS: It is quiet difficult to keep the mouth closed when dealing with lower jaw-line teeth. Is it possible this product could be used upside down; this was tried but obviously the fluid cannot be pumped up when the device is tilted 180 degrees, therefore maybe an upside down feature would suffice. CONVERTS: MY husband has a permanent lower brace and since now has either refused inter-dental cleaning devices or has been unable to use them due to the brace being in the way. He has now never missed a day of flossing due to this remarkable device. He is a convert - he loves how fresh his mouth feels and he has sworn that if this device breaks in a couple of years then a newer model will be on delivery the next day. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This device is brilliant; I am using all my previous methods of flossing less and the only real reason for me using them still is portability. If I could in fact take my airflosser in my bag to work- it would come, most definitely. I have noticed a massive improvement in the staining between my teeth and the freshness of my breath (I have been using predominantly mouthwash in the chamber). Furthermore, I have a veneer at the front of my mouth, at first I was a bit sceptical of using such a powerful water jet directly at a fragile tooth; but it has been brilliant, there have been no issues and I do not know why I was worried initially. In conclusion I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and have done and I will definitely replace this device if required. It has become a very large part of my daily routine. How fabulous.

You switch it on and press a button for one shot individual blasts, or you can hold the button down for auto bursts of fluid. I found it very effective at cleaning my gums and will continue to use it routinely to maintain healthier gums. My mouth definitely felt cleaner and fresher.

I was very dubious of the product before I used it, I couldn't understand why flossing needed to be automatic. I saw it as a gimmick but was absolutely blown away with the product after just one use. It is so simple to use, just fill the chamber with mouthwash and choose 1, 2 or 3 puffs of air with each click. I opt for 1 puff as 3 for me pumps too much mouthwash for my liking. The design is sleek and really easy to hold and the long neck makes it really simple to reach the back of the mouth. My gums often bled with flossing but I have seen this completely eradicated with an electric floss. I am delighted with the perormance of the product and honestly saw a difference in less than a week. My mouth feels fresher, healthier and more hygienic. Oh and it's super satisfying puffing air between my teeth to dislodge stuck food!! I would recommend this product to anyone...it's actually quite brilliant!

I can't believe I have been flossing with expanding floss for so long. The Sonicare AirFloss Pro is amazing. My teeth have felt cleaner from the first day of using it.
