This was bought as a replacement for a previous Sonicare toothbrush. Vibration level on my gums seemed high when I first started using a Sonicare, but after a few uses this feeling went away. Use this one on its high setting which is still very comfortable. Charger base is nice and small with no seperate transformer, but it's stable and has five small rubber feet so it doesnt slide about. Works on all AC voltages without adjustment. Product looks well made. Its buttons are big enough and have a positive action. Lasts a good time between charges. Brush heads are small enough to clean around back teeth and last quite well. I prefer this Sonicare to manual or electric tooth brushes.

The toothbrush works very well and is simple to use. I believe it is better than my old Phillips brush and was only two thirds of the cost.

I highly recommend this toothbrush if, like me, you have sensitive teeth, and gums. This Philips toothbrush cleans your teeth and gums so effectively and efficiently without rattling your head that the 2 minutes go by very quickly indeed. It also clearly indicates when you need to move to a different quadrant in your mouth. I have found other electric toothbrushes to be too loud, harsh and painful for me, but now I actuall enjoy cleaning my teeth with an electric toothbrush and the results are so good!

I've used 3 different make of electric tooth brushes and can honestly say this is the best. I have gum problems and feel this brush is really helping - teeth look brighter as well.

[Employee of philipsglobal] This toothbrush is great and have a seen a real improvement to my gums, I really couldn't fault it but..... I'm on my 3rd replacement handle in less than 2 years! Previous two handles both failed in exactly same way and just decided one day to die. They weren't dropped or banged around or anything, one day fine next day completely dead, two times exactly same fault in less than two years. On both occasions received a replacement absolutely hassle free in a couple of days of reporting so that's great but if it wasn't for this questionable reliability it would be 5 stars.

Battery died after three years. Out of warranty. Not very impressed.

I have had several Philips Sonically electric toothbrushes and this is the worst for me. The brush is too big and with the method used does not clean in between the teeth.
