A good value wireless Hifi with internet radio, PNP, CD, Aux, USB, normal FM etc. Good sound. A bit tricky to set up for non tech people.

Being able to access my music from anywhere in the house is one of the reasons I went through the expense and hassle of ripping all my CDs to a NAS box. The MCI300 allows me to wirelessly access all my music which is precisely what I bought it for. And, on the whole it works pretty well. However, as with a previous Philips media streamer I owned, it often forgets how to talk to the WiFi router, and the only way to fix it is to pull the plug out the wall and then plug it back in again. This sort of thing really should not be necessary and it means I can't give the product 5 stars.

This system has great sound with a lot of volume. The streaming interface is perhaps a little too simple for my liking. It doesn't really allow you to search for a track or artist by name, you have to scroll through them all. Apart from that it is a great system.

Once setup has all the features you could want. A little hard initially to get the wireless connection setup, but once done connects easily with my other Phillips streamium unit.

I wanted a small unit with reasonable output and USB capability to play musical instruments along to. The internet radio was almost a 'by product' in my choice. What a bonus!! The sound quality this little unit is capable of is excellent for the price. The variety of music on offer via the internet is astonishing, and grouping favourite stations into readily accessible genres and styles makes selection easy. USB functionality is good, displaying a choice of content information from a flash drive eg. list via artist, album or song title. The remote I find a little small and fiddly, and I'd like to be able to pause and retrace at different points through a song when playing from CD or USB, rather than starting again from the beginning of the track, but overall this is a real find.

When I was looking for a hifi system wil an Internet radio, the Philips Streamium MIC300 certainly caught my eye. It looks fantastic and sounds great as well. It's very simple to use and has a whole range of audio options including a handy usb connection and streams music from my laptop as well which is brilliant. I know this doesn't focus on the unit itself, but if you're tempted to buy an Internet radio but aren't quite sure yet, I would hesitate no longer if I were you. the range of radio stations available is staggereing! The Streamium is certainly one of my best buys over the past couple of years and I wouldn't be without it now. The only downside I've found is that it can sometimes lose it's internet settings, which require to be re-entered, but that's no great hardship.

The system is perfect in playing music on CDs MP3s. It's great to play music via USB port. The performance is outstanding. Compare to the other systems in the same category I would give this chance to win, but ... There is a feature called INTERNET RADIO and this is a real pain!!! I cannot describe how awfully this feature has been dealt with. If this would be improved I would not think about any other Hi-Fi system.

Looked around for a product to stream audio from PC and glad purchased this. Sound quality good and easy-to-use. Couple of initial teething problems and the occasional wi-fi issue which requires a reboot but overall a really good product.
