[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s not much wrong with this air fryer! I’ve cooked everything from chicken nuggets and fries to baking cakes and each time the results have been perfect. I’m constantly surprised at how well an air fryer cooks food, and this one is no exception. It has an extra large drawer that could easily fit a roast chicken, although I haven’t had the chance to try this. There is also the option to add a divider to split it into 2, although I feel like this could have been a 50/50 split as opposed to the 70/30 split it has. It also has a steam/air fry option, but I didn’t understand how this would benefit the cooking, if I had more time to try it I would have experimented more. A massive benefit of this model is the self-cleaning option. Leaving this to run for the 15 minutes, then opening it to find the grease or any residue just wiped off before the remaining 5 minutes dried the tray saved a lot of time. The whole drawer is also able to be put in the dishwasher, however the size of it takes up a lot of room which put me off doing it this way. All in all a great all-round air fryer, I would highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace my steamer and air fryer when I downgraded my home. It is quite big and takes up a bit of space on my worktop but as it replacing two appliance I think it is worth it. Steamed food came out amazing and the air fryer function worked well - no more cleaning out the greasy basket is a big bonus for me. When it is on it is quite quiet and the back did not get hot as my old air fryer. The online manual is clear and easy to understand. Really happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Philips NA555 5000 Series Dual-Drawer Air Fryer – Impressive Results, but Not Perfect What works well - Cooking performance is excellent. Both drawers produce very good results using the air-fry function. The larger drawer is particularly impressive when using steam and air frying together. - Useful steam technology. Having steam cooking alongside conventional air frying adds versatility and is one of the machine's strongest features. - A welcome cleaning feature. The steam-cleaning programme works well and is a useful addition that many competing air fryers do not offer. - Good attention to detail. Rubber seals around the drawers and main unit help contain steam, smoke and cooking odours rather than allowing them to escape into the kitchen. - Well made and attractive. The appliance feels sturdy, has a smart appearance and gives a good impression of overall build quality. - Straightforward operation. After reading the manual, the responsive control panel is easy to understand and use. - Easy to clean in the dishwasher. Both drawers fit comfortably into a dishwasher, and the removable parts make cleaning relatively simple. - Practical power cable. The cable is a reasonable length, giving flexibility when positioning the appliance. Where Philips could do better - The water reservoir needs redesigning. It is rather small and looks out of place on an otherwise smart appliance. A larger container positioned discreetly at the rear would be a worthwhile improvement. - A higher cooking temperature would be beneficial. The 200°C maximum is restrictive compared with other air fryers I have used that reach 240°C. Some foods benefit from that extra heat, so the lower ceiling reduces its flexibility. - The control panel is frustrating to maintain. It picks up marks very quickly and seems prone to fine scratches. Keeping it clean is a constant chore, and wiping it during cooking risks accidentally altering the settings. - Why only one drawer for steam cleaning? The facility is limited to the larger drawer, even though the smaller one also accumulates cooking residue. Extending this function to both drawers would make much more sense. - A missing dehydration function. With so many other capabilities, the lack of a dedicated dehydrating programme is surprising and feels like a missed opportunity. Final thoughts The Philips NA555 gets the fundamentals right. It cooks extremely well, feels solidly constructed and offers a particularly useful combination of steam and air frying. The effective seals and dishwasher-friendly design are further advantages. Nevertheless, some design decisions prevent it from being as good as it could be. The water reservoir, limited maximum temperature, easily marked control panel and one-drawer-only steam cleaning all deserve attention. A dehydration setting would also be a welcome addition. My recommendation: I would still recommend this air fryer because its cooking performance is very good and its overall build quality inspires confidence. However, it is not without irritation, and I hope Philips addresses these shortcomings in a future model. The potential is there for a truly excellent appliance.

Having used the Philips steam airfryer now for a few weeks I can honestly say I am delighted with the machine.I have used all 3 functions and each one performed extremely well.I have steam airfiyed a whole chicken in 1 hour which turned out very succulent and the skin was crispy.I now only steam my vegetables which I find much more flavoursome than boiling,carrots are the best.Its a very well built machine and looks fantastic,its also very quiet.I have used the clean function which seems to work very well although after cooking more greasy or oily foods I preferred to hand clean.I can highly recommend this machine.

Excellent Nothing to dislike about this airfryer. It has so many different cooking functions it’s fabulous Cooks food evenly and quick and an amazing cleaning function. It looks good on the kitchen counter. The dual basket is a great invention can cook different foods at different temperatures and times it’s truly amazing 100 times better than my previous airfryer. Saves so much money compared to cooking with gas. I use it everyday. .

This looks like a very smart bit of kit, although I hadn't quite appreciated just how much space it would take up on the kitchen worktop! Having used it for a while now, I think the best thing is just how practical it is. I initially didn't really understand the basket system, but once I figured out how to split it, it made so much more sense. You can cook different foods at different temperatures or use the whole space for something bigger. Really clever and actually very useful. We've had great results cooking all sorts of things. It's brilliant for quick family meals and the usual beige food, but I've also been impressed with how it handles more adventurous cooking. Cleaning is also much easier than my old air fryer, which makes a real difference when you're using it regularly. Its not cheap on space, but for a larger family I think it's absolutely worth considering. I'd happily recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used quite a few air fryers over the years, I wasn't expecting this one to be quite as impressive as it is! After several weeks of testing, the Philips 5000 Series has definitely become my favourite. What really sets it apart is the flexibility of the baskets. Being able to switch between a 6L and 3L cooking space and one large 9.5L basket is incredibly convenient. With three adults and a child to feed, having that extra space makes preparing dinner so much easier. I've also noticed a difference in the cooking performance. The RapidAir technology gives food a beautifully crispy, golden finish, and meals seem to cook approximately two minutes faster than with my previous air fryers. The steam features are another welcome addition, helping food stay juicy and tender rather than drying out. Cleaning is fairly straightforward thanks to the SteamClean function, although it isn't completely hands-free. I've found that removing some of the grease beforehand gives much better results. The only downside for me is how much counter space it takes up. It's certainly not a small appliance, so that's something worth considering if kitchen space is limited. Despite its size, I think it's a brilliant addition to the kitchen. The versatility, cooking performance and convenience make it well worth recommending, especially for families!

This is a big upgrade from my old trusty air fryer also a Philips. One of the original ones when air fryers started coming out. That old fryer does only one thing - air fry. This new and much bigger machine can do everything I need in a kitchen. Fry, bake, heat and my favourite feature , steam. And it even combines steaming with frying resulting in crispy outer but still juicy inner. It has 2 baskets and it self cleans too. What more do you need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a decent sized airfryer that comfortably accomodates a a roast with the sides, or a whole pizza (had to cut into half and play a little, but I managed to fit it in.) It is very convenient that it allows you to use it as one large or two separate compartment, so you can control the temperature and time setting either as one large unit or two separate onea. And if you choose the latter (it can be done easily with the divider included), they are still big enough to cook for a family of four in one round. I love the steam function, it made my roast chicken's skin so crispy but the meat inside was juicy. Also the veggies were tender next to it and not dry at all. The touch buttons give it a clean look that's easy to maintain, the basket cleaning is also a breeze. I grow to love this airfryer so much, it saves me so much time and effort and I'm still able to cook hearty and healthy dinners for my family, while getting to spend more time with them. The only thing that might need some improvement, is the handle which could use some grippy surface or something and it's a bit tricky to open with one hand.
