The Bluetooth indicator light on my Philipa Lumea is blinking yellow

If the Bluetooth indicator light on your Philips Lumea IPL is blinking yellow, the device is in error mode and needs to be restored to factory settings. This may occur after a firmware update and does not impact the data stored in the Lumea app, such as your treatment schedule.

To reset your Lumea to factory settings:

  1. Turn off your Lumea
  2. Connect your Lumea to the plug socket using the cable provided
  3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  4. After 10 seconds, the Bluetooth indicator will light up and blink. Continue to hold the power button until 30 seconds have passed.
  5. Release the power button. The Bluetooth indicator light will begin to flash purple.

The reset process takes approximately 5 minutes. Do not unplug your Lumea or press the power button until the reset is complete. Your Lumea will turn on after the factory reset.

If this problem occurs repeatedly, please contact us for additional support.
