I get nicks and cuts when shaving with OneBlade

If you experience nicks and cuts when shaving with your Philips OneBlade, the following tips below may help to resolve the issue:

  • Check your blade for any visible signs of damage and replace it immediately if you notice any.
  • Keep the blade flat against your skin as you shave and avoid pressing too hard - allow the blade to glide across the surface of your skin.
  • Use the fingers of your free hand to spread the skin and hold it taut to smooth out lines, wrinkles or folds and allow the blade to glide across an even surface. This is particularly important when shaving your neck or delicate areas below the belt.
