Your Philips Avent 4-in-1 Baby food maker is ideal for steaming and blending the following:
Your baby food maker is
not intended for:
- Steaming frozen raw ingredients
- Steaming previously blended food without the storage pot
- Steaming the same ingredients for more than 30 minutes
- Cooking rice and pasta
- Blending first, then steaming
- Heating or reheating liquids such as soup, sauces or water
- Keeping food warm for several hours
- Cutting hard ingredients such as ice cubes and sugar cubes, or sticky ingredients like cheese

The Combined Steamer and Blender is ideal for steaming fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
Your baby food maker is not intended for:
- Steaming frozen fruits/vegetables
- Steaming already blended food
- Re-heating food
- Defrosting food
- Cooking rice and pasta
- Steaming baby food twice
- Blending first and then steaming
- Trying to keep food warm for several hours
- Warming up fluids, e.g. soup, water
