What issues are solved by a software upgrade in Philips TV?

    Published on 2019-09-10

Note: Due to different model versions, 2 or more upgrade files will be found in the downloaded ZIP file. This means that it is possible that after the software upgrade has been done, the software version on your TV is different from the software version posted on the website.

Before starting the software upgrade procedure, it is advise to check the current software version of your TV set.

Example: If the software version starts with Q522E-0.64.79.0, then you have to refer to the Q522E section of the readme file for the latest software version number and the improvements of each upgrade.

When the software version of the TV set is the same as the latest software released, the TV set will not perform any update.
