Blu-ray Disc player

I bought this Blu-Ray player to compliment our Sony TV. A very small and compact player, but perfect, the DVDs are enhanced by the player, the Blu-Ray are stunning and the effect is out of this world. I'm really happy with my DVD player, and I recommend.

I absolutely love this player.. It was my first bluray player I've owned and I can honestly say I made the right choice. I get a lot of video files as avi and bluray mkv files, and the player handled the avi's with no problem. It doesn't play mkv files, so I tried renaming the .mkv extension to .avi and 99% of them played fine, with the extra 1% playing but with pixelated video. However since owning the player from January 2010, there has been some firmware updates available to download from the Philips website, which you simply transfer to a usb stick and plug into the player itself. I'm assuming it was updated codecs in the file because it solved the pixelated problem. This made me love the player even more!! The player doesn't have online connections for Bluray Live, but it was never an issue for me. I recommend this to anyone interested in playing bluray, dvd, and even the raw file formats like avi, divx, wmv and the renamed mkv files. It has audio outputs at the back which I have running through my home cinema system for the ultimate experience. In all I would vote this player 10/10 :-)

Very easy to set up, just plug in and play. Interface very easy to use. Would recommend

It has a good picture in both blu-ray and DVD with the update and good sound. It's easy to set up. No problems at all. Above all it's good value!

I found the product very easy to use the picture quality excellent and the sound is brilliant when played through my sound bar device. The price was also very competitive but I am a fan of Philips products.

ik heb hem nu 2 jaar het is vrij makkelijk en doet het prima wat het moet gedaan woorden op zijn tijd de update doen geen klachten er over echt een aanrader
