Beardtrimmer series 7000Vacuum stubble and beard trimmer

Love the quietness and smooth feel of this compared to my older Philips trimmer. But for some reason they have made cleaning it more difficult. The hair collector isn't removable anymore. They do give you a couple of small cleaning tools, but I have found that using my cordless vac is much more effective at quickly clearing out those little hairs. Charging is also much much better, taking only an hour to charge, but giving a decent runtime. All in all very pleased, I just wish cleaning wasn't such a kerfuffle :)

Excellent beard trimmer, collects a significant amount of stray hair.

Wow, my husband normally leaves stubble everywhere after having a shave, however with vacuum beard trimmer there is hardly any stubble left to clean up and he gets the shave as close as he looked out so he still has a bit of stubble left. Overall it is a fab shaver, easy to use, comfortable and we would recommend it.

Having used Phillips beard trimmers before, I was expecting great things from this trimmer; it did not disappoint! The trimmer has a great range of lengths, making it easy to style all kinds of beards, as well as a removable head, allowing you to get a close shave. The vacuum works as promised, which is the distinguishing feature of this product, there was significantly less hair in the sink after i had finished trimming my beard. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a beard trimmer.

This product is excellent! I have had trouble getting a clean shape on my beard from my previous trimmers but the Philips Beard trimmer series 7000 does this perfectly. The vacuum system is great as it captures most the hair meaning no more hair covering the sink. The design of the product allows for a comfortable trim and the battery life is great. The length can be adjusted with ease with no attachment needed.

The vacuum is certainly a unique feature which I liked, as there was no need to clean the sink after a shave. Having thick, black facial hair I have often struggled to find a beard trimmer that met my needs. I did eventually find one by an alternate brand and have lived with that for years thinking it did the job well enough. That was until I tried this Philips model, wow was I shocked. So firstly its unique feature that sets it apart from the competition - the in-built vacuum that captures 90% of the hairs trimmed. I was sceptical that it would work well but it certainly does. Before I always shaved in the shower cubicle before my shower so the water washed the shavings away. I still do that with the Philips but its immediately clear on the crisp white shower tray that the amount of hair dropped is tiny in comparison to my competitor model. Then when I come to empty the chamber that captures the hair, a big ball or two of trimmings falls out, so it works great. Aside from hoovering up the hair, the trimmer is still great in many other areas too. The two heads are really easy to change, the guide comb is really nice and smooth and makes it a dream to slide across your face and the length adjustments are via the dial are so, so simple. The device is also so quiet to use compared to my other trimmer. Its so quiet it almost sounds like the batteries are running out or that it isn't powerful, but neither of those are true. The only slight niggle, and it is very slight, is that when fitting the guide comb, sometimes the clips on the comb splay out and miss the slots they are supposed to go into. As long as you are careful to align them then shouldn't be a problem, but I think if you weren't careful then they could eventually snap off.

I was surprised at how easy it was to use. There was no irritation when shaving and the adjustable length settings is a great feature. However, my favourite aspect was the integrated vacuum. First time I have used a product with this feature and it was a pleasant surprise, with nearly most of the hair being caught by the vacuum. It saves me time from cleaning up as well as creating minimal mess. The only downside I would say is that removing and fitting the guard is a little fiddly. Overall, I am pleased with the product as it was very efficient and easy to use.
