This system has a 3W RMS total output power. RMS refers to Root Mean Square, which is a typical measurement of audio power, or rather, the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, which is measured in watts. The amount of electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker and its sensitivity determines the sound power that is generated. The higher the wattage, the better the sound power emitted by the speaker.

Perfectly formed
This was my third attempt at a replacement alarm clock and iPod dock. The functionality is great for the price, and the sound quality is good for such a small unit. Really happy with it.

Oda a mi buen compañero despertador
Quiero dejar mi testimonio de este producto pues me acompañó por 15 años, siempre ofreciéndome calidad, la sinergia con el, también desaparecido, iPod fue excelente. Los niveles de brillo de la pantalla muy buenos y la opción de personalizar las alarmas para toda la semana, días laborales o solo fines de semana fue muy útil. Hoy lo he reemplazado por otro modelo de despertador Philips, ofreciéndole un merecido retiro.
