This system has a 3W RMS total output power. RMS refers to Root Mean Square, which is a typical measurement of audio power, or rather, the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, which is measured in watts. The amount of electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker and its sensitivity determines the sound power that is generated. The higher the wattage, the better the sound power emitted by the speaker.

Well made but.....
The DCB210 is very well made and has good sound reproduction but....A problem that has come to light since buying the product is that DAB is not as good as they say! I would like it to be mentioned thet there may be difficulty in receiving DAB because coverage is not as good as it could be. Talking to other people I've found that there are gaps and places where DAB is either not available or the reception is bad. They are correct in saying 'crackle free' there are no crackles but it sounds like there's a high wind blowing over the microphone, making it very difficult to hear. The size and position of the control buttons are a little bit awkward but one soon gets used to them and they present no real problems. The only other problem I had is that at night the contrast on the display is not enough, the brightness can be changed but not the contrast and as I need glasses I have to fumble to find them before seeing the time. Overall the product is very good, I love the twin alarms and it holds my iPod very securely, but please check you can get DAB before buying, its very disapointing to find only some of the items on the product work.

only worked whilst in Warranty period
Product worked fine for 12 months, then in month 13 alarm/Ipod dock etc all stopped working all it is good for now is a clock. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone
