docking speaker

Another well made Philips product. This little speaker packs a big punch and can even sound a tad on the bassy side when used inside. But that bass is excellent when you move it outdoors. It runs a long time on the batteries (4 x AA's) and its ergonomic design is very nice. 5 star product that sits proudly next to my bed.

This is the 2nd sound system purchased from Philips, the first was the much more costly and louder etc unit. For the money although not so good is excellent. Base response for such a small unit is great. Word of warning though, although data does say compatable with all iPods, my Nano 6 will only work with the cable attachment via the ear piece socket and not the docking socket. Nobody knows why! Apart from that great product, my wife loves it.

Easy to set up out of the box. Very compact and robust design. The sound is excellent for its size, makes a much bigger noise than you would expect! The added ability to use it on battery power gives great flexibility.

I purcase a ipod classic for christmas and I have been looking and searching for a speaker unit to go with my ipod classic for home use.There's alot of speaker units on the market,but alot of them just don't have the sound quality Im looking for unless you pay a furtune for one! Then a friend recommended philips. When online came across this small home ipod speaker read great reviews and the price was in my budget. so i decided to go for it. Well I just received it today and I can say this product matches its reviews. This small home unit is fantastic and the sound quality is amazing coming from a small unit it fills the room crystal clear. Well done! Philips :-)

I have to admit I was a little nervous about buying this. I have tried other speaker systems for mp3/4 players with rave reviews and have been bitterle disappointed. But the sound quality from this little device is truely stunning. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small speaker system - plenty of power to fill the lounge, crystal clear and no distortion, good tonal qualities -I dont know how they do it in such a small device.

We bought this for use in our kitchen and have been so pleased with it. The sound is brilliant and the volume reaches very loud. So loud in fact that i have used this small speaker for house parties which according to the neighbours was very very loud. And the bonus being you do not loose any sound quality when the volume is turned up. i am planning on buying my son the very same speaker for christmas! Buy it!!!

Looks great and style wise very modern. A future classic for sure

This is my second purchase I now have a dock upstairs; perfect sound from my I-phone 4 it maybe small and neat but the sound is fab. My sister now has one too. Looks fab in my kitchen; love the colour (dislike the black square docks around )so this is perfect. Doesn't stand out too much. An I-phone and this speaker should be together. Great little product.
