Philips Shaver 500 SeriesWet & Dry Electric Compact Shaver

I have to say, this shaver has genuinely impressed me. It’s nice and compact, making it ideal for travelling, and one feature I particularly love is the travel lock. You can lock the power button, so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally switching itself on if something presses against it in your travel bag. A small feature, but a really useful one! I already own a Philips OneBlade and the Philips MG3720/33 Series 3000 7-in-1 Multi Grooming Kit, but by far, this is the best electric shaver I’ve used. The closeness of the shave is what really surprised me. It gets remarkably close to a traditional wet shave with a razor, and I was genuinely shocked at just how good the results were. I wasn’t expecting it to shave this closely! It’s also incredibly quick and easy to use. Another great feature is that the hair collects inside the cap, meaning I can shave pretty much anywhere without worrying about making a mess. It’s so convenient. As well as shaving my face, I’ve also used it on my head, and once again, the results have been excellent. It gives me a really close shave, and I’m extremely impressed with how well it performs for both. The battery life is really good too. I can comfortably get around three full shaves out of it when shaving both my face and head, which is great. Overall, I think this product is absolutely brilliant. Whether you’re looking to upgrade or replace your current electric shaver, or you’re considering making the switch from a traditional wet razor to electric shaving, I’d highly recommend giving this one a try. It’s compact, convenient, easy to use and delivers a seriously close shave. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it!

My husband has been using this shaver and he’s really pleased with it. He likes that it’s compact and easy to hold, but still gives a really good shave and the battery life is great. He said it feels comfortable on the skin and does a good job without being too bulky.The size is probably his favourite thing, especially for travelling. It comes with a cover/travel case and the magnetic closure is a nice little touch, which keeps everything together and feels secure in the bag. He’s also found it easy to clean and likes that it can be used wet or dry. Overall, he’s been really happy with it and said it’s a great little shaver for everyday use. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something compact, quick to charge but still does the job well.

Amazing shaver. I have used this shaver for a few weeks now and I must say I’m impressed. It can be used on both wet or dry skin as effective. The battery last for at least 30 mins witch is more than enough. The size is ideal to take on when travelling. I’m very happy with my new shaver and I highly recommend this.

Very small shaver but packs a surprising punch. Great for on the go shaving, in the car or at the gym. Gives a great shave. Also has a long lasting charge so I can’t fault this at all.

It came in a very elegant box. I was surprised to see how small and light it is, almost like an antiperspirant size. It’s covered in a case, to protect it. I can take it with me anywhere. Only 2 blades, but effective for me. Gets rid of the hair, but my skin stays smooth, no irritation at all. I like that it works with foam and gel, as well as dry. It makes it very convenient when I travel. It’s very easy to clean. I like the battery indicator level, which shows me when it needs charging. The leaflet says 40 minutes life. For me it lasted 7 shaves, but it charges fast with USB cable. This is the bad part, it doesn’t come with a cable, so it’s a bit extra money for a cable. The only thing I don’t like too much is the shape. I prefer the narrow shape for a more comfortable grip and a faster shave. All in all, I recommend this shaver, particularly for travels or for busy days.

The SteelPrecision blades feel sharp and reliable, and the Lift & Cut technology works so well; it catches hairs that lie flat and gets right up close without ever dragging, pulling, or leaving that annoying stubbly shadow behind. I love that it feels gentle on my skin too; I haven’t had any redness, irritation, or soreness even when I’m in a rush and use it quickly. The battery life is fantastic; it holds charge for ages, charges up fast, and I never have to panic about it dying halfway through. It has become my absolute go-to whether I am travelling, or just need a quick tidy-up at home. This has made keeping on top of my routine so much easier; I genuinely don’t know how I managed without it before.

This shaver is excellent, it is nicely compact, and so is perfect for when I am travelling. It comes in ot's own case and gives a brillant shave. It causes no irritation, and I can achieve a nice close, smooth shave well. The product is good quality and very easy to handle.

Ik kom scheren met mes dus was sceptisch. Maar dit is een Rrg fijn en compact apparaat. Scheert als de beste en de batterij gaat lang mee. Ligt lekker in de hand en voelt degelijk aan.

De Philips Compact Shaver scheert uitstekend glad! De scheerkoppen bewegen mee met het gezicht waardoor het een erg fijne scheerervaring is. Het maakt heel weinig herrie dus perfect voor als je het in de ochtend gebruikt. Dankzij het kleine formaat is het ook ideaal om mee te nemen. Zo kan je dus overal en onderweg je scheren. Volledig draadloos. De batterijduur is een van de sterkste punten, het blijft namelijk een uur lang opgeladen wat genoeg is voor vele scheerbeurten. Het ziet er ook nog eens erg mooi uit en je kan het zelfs onder de douche gebruiken en schoonspoelen met water. Het heeft alles wat ik nodig heb.
