    I have forgotten my 4-digit access code of my Philips TV. How can I reset it?

    Follow the instructions below to reset the 4-digit access code if you cannot remember it.

    1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control to access the main menu.
    2. Select TV MENU and press the cursor right.
    3. Press the cursor down to select FEATURES and press the cursor right.
    4. Press the cursor down to select CHANGE CODE and press the cursor right.
    5. When the prompt PLEASE ENTER YOUR CURRENT CODE appears on the screen, enter the universal code '8888'.
    6. Then enter an easily remembered new 4-digit access code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation.
    7. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.

    If you have not set your personal 4-digit access code when you first turned on the TV set, you need to do this before you can use the Child lock feature.

    Follow the instructions below to set the 4-digit access code for the first time:

    1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control to access the main menu.
    2. Select TV MENU and press the cursor right.
    3. Press the cursor down to select FEATURES and press the cursor right.
    4. Press the cursor down to select SET CODE and press the cursor right.
    5. When the prompt PLEASE ENTER YOUR NEW CODE appears on the screen, enter an easily remembered new 4-digit access code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation.
    6. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
