Great TV and very easy on the eye!
This TV is fantastic. From the arrival of the product, which was well packaged, to the ease of installation, through to using the TV, I have been very impressed. The TV is slightly deeper than I expected, however, once the legs are on, which are quite modern and streamlined, you don't notice the depth of the TV. It came packaged in a sturdy box with a plastic film over the screen to protect it. The items such as the remote control (which came with batteries) were in a separate bag within the box. It was very easy to set-up and really was pretty much a case of plug in and go. It linked up with my Satellite remote quickly and easily. I have been really impressed with this TV. The vibrancy of colour and clarity of picture are amazing. The picture is very clear and font is very easy to read, which makes selecting and watching a TV programme very easy and enjoyable. The Ambilight feature creates a sort of Halo of coloured light around the back of the TV, which subtly changes with the colour on the screen. For example if the picture is mainly a green shade, then the glow will be green, and if it is red, then there is a red glow. The Ambilight glow lights up the room, which means I do not need any additional lights on in the room, but it also feels like it protects my eyes from the contrast of a bright TV in a dark room. I have noticed my eyes feeling less tired and strained when watching. I also have not needed to wear my glasses to see the clear picture. The sound quality is very clear and of extremely good standard. I find that I have the volume at a lower level than I would on other TV's, yet I can hear clearly even from the other side of the room. Music sounds great through the TV and streaming channels is quick and easy.
Pros
Great sound, great picture quality, fabulous colour and vibrancy. Ambilight provides a wonderful glow around the room which changes with the picture and enhances the viewing experience, whilst reducing eye strain.
Cons
Slightly deeper than anticipated, but other than that, it is great.
