Lumea IPL 9000IPL Hair removal device with SenseIQ

I am on my 3rd session with this device and I can confidently say that I am now able to see real results. I have very fair skin and dark hairs and have used this device every 2 weeks as recommended. I have downloaded the app as well which is really helpful! It has a lot of insights on how to use the device and it also allows you to log your sessions and it sends you reminders. On my very first session I was a little bit nervous and although the device recommended me a 5 level intensity I was only able to use a 3. On my second session I started gaining more confidence and used a 4. And this is when I started seeing real results. My hair on my legs, arms and armpits are growing a little slower and I can see patches where my hair seems to not grow at the moment. I am expecting this to expand to my full areas as I continue using the device. I have to say that this is a big time investment, you need to shave completely wherever you want to use the device and then slowly work your way using the laser. It takes me 1 hour to complete my full legs, arms and armpits including shaving time. I will keep using it and I am confident I will soon be hair free!

I really like how easy and comfortable the Philips Lumea is to use compared with my usual hair removal method. After two sessions, I've already noticed that my hair is growing back more slowly and feels finer in some areas. The process is quick, simple and convenient at home. I'm looking forward to continuing with it and seeing further hair reduction. If the results continue to improve, I will fell very happy and more confident about having smooth skin with less frequent hair removal.

I was excited to try this as I have very dark hair on fair skin that constantly needs shaving. I don’t find this painful at all (even on max setting) and the process is super straightforward. It is more difficult to get full skin contact around boney areas (knees/ankles etc) but I usually manage it with some playing around. Being able to use this wirelessly is also really handy. So far I have done 2 treatments of my full legs and after the second treatment I noticed it took longer for my hair to grow back, so I’m optimistic I can be hair free with the full plan!

Body hair and facial hair has always been an issue for me and such a hassle to remove. Before discovering the Phillips Lumea 9000 IPL hair removal, I would dedicate time to removing my hair every day. And I have tried everything. I have shaved, which for me almost always came with cuts, ingrown hairs and missed hairs, I have used an epilator, which is painful, time consuming and sometimes doesn’t remove all the hairs, I have also waxed, which again, is time consuming, painful, messy and not all the hairs are removed. Plus with epilating and waxing, you need to let your hair grow for them to work, and I surely don’t want to do that especially during summer. As for shaving, the hair can start growing back as soon as the next day. After the first use of the Phillips Lumea 9000 IPL hair removal, I have noticed that hair regrowth was much slower. After 3-4 days I could feel some hair when touching my skin, but it was not noticeable. With the other methods I would notice hair regrowth within the next day or two. Some areas actually stayed hair free until the second IPL session, meaning that there was less hair regrowth in general. Not to mention the convenience and pain free experience of using the Lumea 9000. The device is extremely easy to use and it comes with a bag for storage and 3 different heads for different body parts: legs, armpits+intimate area, face. The skin sensor automatically adjusts the intensity level to suit your skin type and all you have to do is glide the IPL device across your skin. The most pain I’ve felt while using it was a tiny pinch like sensation, which I have only experienced in my intimate area, which is more sensitive as it is. As I am writing this I am a few days after the second IPL session and I’m amazed at how smooth my skin feels. I’ve experienced no irritation, no ingrown hairs or small injuries, things that have been common for me when using the other methods. After just 2 sessions I’m beyond impressed with the Phillips Lumea 9000, from the ease of use to the amazing results. It is definitely a worthy investment. I have less concerns about hairs that might have been missed, hairs that might have regrown over night, and I have mire time for myself. This device has made hair removal less of a chore and so much easier. I can’t wait to see the results after the full treatment.

De app werkt heel fijn en laat precies zien hoe en wat er aan de beurt is. Het licht fijn in de hand en je bent eigenlijk zo klaar met je lichaam! Ook fijn dat er meerdere opzet stukken zijn voor elk lichaams gebied, zodat de flitser het goed pakt. Ben binnen 10/15 minuten klaar met het hele lichaam flitsen en merk duidelijk zachter minder snel terug groeiende haren na een paar weken al!

Een top apparaat voor laserontharing vanuit je eigen huis. Doordat het apparaat gebruikt wordt met stekker is de lader krachtig genoeg om snel resultaat te laten zien. Ondanks dit vind ik het apparaat veilig in gebruik en heb ik geen huidbeschadiging opgelopen tijdens het gebruik. Zelfs niet op mijn gezicht! Er zijn drie opzetstukken: oksel en bikinilijn, gezicht en armen en benen. Alleen het opzetstuk voor het gezicht bevat nog een extra glas. Verder ligt het apparaat ergonomisch in de hand en is hij licht genoeg om comfortabel te gebruiken.

Wat een super fijn apparaat is dit! Ik heb hem uitgetest op meerdere momenten (ik heb een passend schema gebruikt) en het werkt echt heel fijn. Ik merk dat mijn haartjes minder snel terugkomen en dat ze veel dunner zijn dan voorheen. Het apparaat is prijzig, maar het is op de lange termijn de aankoop zeker waard!

Ik ben zeer tevreden over het IPL apparaat. De eerste indruk was wat minder; het scannen van de streepjescode deed het niet en ik kon de versie die ik had niet vinden onder de 9000 serie. Ik voelde me een beetje "buitengesloten". Toen het scannen van de barcode het enkele weken later wel deed, bleek mijn versie onder de 8000 serie te staan. Wat een beetje gek is, maar verder gebruik en ervaring niet in de weg staat. Ik dacht dat IPL ontharen was, maar toen ik hem wilde gebruiken, kwam ik er achter dat ik eerst moest ontharen. Daarna moet je eerst je huid testen en 24 uur wachten om te zien hoe je huid reageert. De app begeleid je hier goed in en helpt je ook herinneren wanneer je een behandeling gepland hebt of vergeten bent. In de app staat ook meer informatie en filmpjes met uitleg en tips en tricks. Alle accesoires worden geleverd in een mooie opbertas. Helaas is de adapter er groot en is het mij nog niet gelukt om de etui goed te sluiten. Het apparaat ziet er mooi uit, ligt goed in de hand. En is niet te zwaar. Maar het gebruik zelf (Hoe doe ik het oppervlak van mijn been? Hoe doe ik het deel rond mijn enkel? Hoe groot of hoe klein moet de verschuiving zijn?) vraagt enige oefening. Er zijn 5 standen en de intensiteit die prettig is kan per huidoppervlak verschillen. Zo gebruikte ik op mijn onderbeen stand 4, maar was dat voor bij mijn knie echt niet fijn en gebruik ik stand 2. Het leren kennen en wennen aan het apparaat vraagt wat tijd. Maar met behulp van de app en een leuke serie of film op is het zo gepiept.

Verbazend over het resultaat. Aparaat ligt lekker in de hand en is niet zwaar, je moet hem wel goed op de huid zetten voordat het lampje gaat branden dit kan soms lastig zijn op bijvoorbeeld onderbenen. Er zitten 3 verschillende opzetstukken bij voor gezicht, bikinilijn en oksels en voor de benen. Werkt snel, haartjes worden al na 2 behandelingen dunner

Wauw! Wat een fantastisch product. Eindelijk een haarverwijderaar die wel echt werkt. Onwijs eenvoudig in gebruik, voor ieder huidtype instelbaar, het is een degelijk gemaakt product, voelt stevig aan, makkelijk mee te nemen want het is niet zwaar. Door het naar eigen verlangen in te stellen hitte niveau is het echt voor iedereen goed te doen! En wat de echte beste uitkomst ooit is, haar blijft echt weg, zelfs al na 1 behandeling!
