BRI933 - Lumea IPL 7000 SeriesIPL Hair removal device with SenseIQ

Oh my gosh I just love this device! I have to admit, I was actually nervous to first start using it as I was a little scared ut was going to be painful in some way. I am pleased to say I have not felt any pain at any point whilst using this product. I would recommend fully reading the instructions prior to first use- I did this via the app which had handy videos detailing exactly what is needed- this made the set up and first use much easier than expected. The first time I used it I was quite slow at just doing my legs- however each used since has been easier and faster than the last and now it seems to be done in no time. After the first treatment, I did not see a sudden difference, which was to be expected due to this requirement repeat treatments. I have only used this a few times so far due to needing to wait a little after each treatment, but I can honestly say that I have seen a visible difference in my hair growth! There definitely is not as much coming back through each time and my legs do feel smoother to me. I am finding it easier to use than that first usage and I usually complete both my legs within 15 minutes which is no time at all. It is easy to set up- the device will select the setting it thinks is required- but you can control this by pressing the power button to move it from intensity 1-5. I put it down to one for the first press as I was worrying about it being painful- However I did not feel any pain and moved this setting back up to 4 which suits my skin- and the only sensation I feel is a gentle warmth. The extra attachment for use on the face is definitely another plus for me as I have a lots of "peach fuzz" on my neck and by my mouth. Again- using this is just the same as using the bigger attachment, just on a smaller surface area. The results have been the same on my face- after the first use i did not notice a difference, however, after the second use i could see that there appeared to be less hair- it was more sparse. After the third use I could see less hair coming through again, and it appeared to be taking longer to grow back. It comes with a handy travel bag to keep the device safe, along with the cable, a cleaning wipe and the spare attachment. The cable is also a decent length to make moving it around as you use it easy enough, and the device itself feels to be made of a sturdy plastic, but not too heavy that it makes my arm ache to use. The instructions show how to clean it after each use- it is extremely simple and just requires the attachment being removed, dampening the provided cleaning cloth and wiping this over the lens to remove any dirt etc. Overall I am absolutely thrilled with this device. It has exceeded my expectations and has been so much easier to use than I would have thought. I actually look forward to each use as I am enjoying seeing the reduction of hair coming through after this. I honestly would recommend this to anyone who is wanting a pain free way of removing body hair without having to shave, wax or visit a salon. Absolutely incredible device.

I’ve used the new Philips Lumea IPL twice and so far i’m really enjoying it. I previously waxed but unfortunately that caused me to get quite a lot of ingrown hairs. Shaving is quicker but I find it doesn’t last very long and I can feel stubble coming back the next day. So far, I’ve found the Lumea really light and easy to use, which makes the whole process feel like muck less of a chore. The design is comfortable to handle and the attachments make it easy to use in different areas. I like also having the app to guide me and keep me right of when to use it. It’s still early days after only just two sessions but i’m already looking forward with continuing it and seeing how my hair regrowth changes over time. So far i’m pleased with how easy and convenient it is to fit into my routine. I’d recommend.

I’ve used this device a few times now after previously owning and experimenting with an older Lumea device and I’m starting to see great results. I’m due my third treatment in the next week and I’m really impressed with it so far. It’s a little bigger than my previous device but it’s very lightweight and easy to use. I’d recommend measuring the length of your arms/legs to work out how many flashes you need to get consistent results every time. All in all a great product

The Phillips Lumea IPL is a game changer for at home hair removal. I used it on my legs and am really impressed with the results. It has a comfortable, lightweight design and size that didn't tire out my arms. The setup takes seconds. You just plug it in. The two attachments are super handy. The larger, curved one, makes covering your legs quickly, sliding up and down easily. The smaller head is great for sensitive areas. It has a Smart Skin sensor that helps you pick the correct sensitivity for your skin. It has 5 levels, I normally put it on 4 or 5 and don't find it hot at all, even though I have sensitive skin. It also has a great app that keeps your sessions on track and gives reminders. It also comes with a handy storage bag, which it all packs away into.

The Philips Lumea IPL 8000 Series has made my life so much easier! Well not only mine but husband’s too! The hair removing device is so cool! It has an app which keeps a track of the journey to get hair free! It has five options for the size of window needed to focus! The speed is great! It is easy to maintain, there is a cloth to clean and a storage bag to keep it in safe. The device doesn’t take much space too which is a plus!

I’ve absolutely loved using an at home IPL device! I was nervous at first because it’s my first time using this type of hair removal tool but it’s amazing! I’ve done about 3 sessions every couple of weeks and my hair is visibly finer and coming back in slower. It’s abit fidgety to start with but once you get used it it’s very easy! Just make sure you shave your hair in the treatment area first! The attachment that comes with it makes it a very smooth glide! It only takes me 30 mins in a session for me and the noise is just as loud as a fan very unnoticeable. It seems to be a very sturdy product and not flimsy and seems like it will last me the next few years and the app is a brilliant tool to help with any questions or even instructions. I used the level 2 and gradually went up to 3/4 in some sessions and in the coming weeks I will go up intensity I’d recommend starting a little higher if you have thick hair.

the device is shaped like a hand held gun and moves with ease on any area you are using it on, easy to set up and plugs in to use, really quiet when device is in use, this device is a magical after a few sessions i have personally noticed it has left my legs feeling smooth and i can confidently say its been a few weeks since seeing a single hair appear, its really excellent value for money if you added up how much you go to your fav place to get your legs or body area waxed or treated this covers itself and perfect for your pamper nights alone or with friends, i have loved doing my legs, the device feels really nice to hold and soo easy to use, the app that comes with it is really good you can even set reminders to when to use the product, i personally would recommend this product and already have to my family, i feel really happy and excited to continue my journey with lumea, i'm excited to try this device on other parts of my body as only focused on my legs for now, i personally will not be grabbing any hair removal cream going forward as this device is just perfect and my new go to! the attachments that come with it are easy to pull off and on for use on other parts of your body as instructed on the app, the device comes with a nice gold material bag to store in after every use too. :)

I absolutely loved testing the Philips Lumea 7000 IPL device which comes with a body attachment, instruction manual cleaning cloth and a storage pouch. What I absolutely love about it is that it has a dedicated Lumea App which makes the experience effortless , convenient and easy to understand. You can register the device on the app for extended warranty, watch videos to understand the product features as well as step by step tutorial and instructions. You can save your treatment settings, set reminders for the app to notify you before your next treatment period. The IPL device itself is strong, durable and well made keeping comfort and safety in mind. I was quite apprehensive before use but the step by step instructions and ease of use made me feel happy and relieved. After you switch the power on, the led light for the intensity number blinks, you then place it on the area of use and the device will automatically select the intensity based on your skin tone. When the flash indicator is white, you press the flash button to treat that area. It’s that simple! If it is your first time, you test with the recommended intensity to see its comfortable and depending on that increase or decrease the intensity setting to your desired level. Check for any undesirable effects or reaction after 24 hours. If no adverse effects, continue treatment with the remainder of the area. Before treating any new areas always recheck the intensity level with a patch test as there might be differences in skin tone. After the treatment you have to leave it for 15 minutes to cool down, that’s it. A cleaning cloth is provided for cleaning the attachment of any dirt or residue before next use. I would love to see the long term effects of this device on my hair growth cycle however so far I am quite happy as I believe it is a good investment in the long term in terms of time, effort as well as money. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely love this hair removal device. Super easy to use and set up. Different settings for which area of hair removal with different attachments. I have done my arm pits and top lip and noticed results after two uses. Skin feels so much smoother and hair is already taking much longer to grow. Nice and compact so easy to store. I would definitely recommend making this part of your beauty routine so no more shaving.

Usually I am anxious to use things like that at home. I had my eyebrows tattoo removed with laser this year and it was freaking painful! I thought this one might be the same, but luckily it was nothing like that. Little pain, very easy to use, instruction is clear and package is lovely. Just like it should be!
