Lumea Precision PlusIPL hair removal system

As a quite hairy dark haired and pale skinned woman I have suffered for decades with stubble rash and ingrown hairs. My bikini line was always bumpy and red and due to daily shaving my armpits were always itchy. I gave up using an epilator because it was do painful and left me with masses of ingrown hairs. For my 50th burthday last year I treated myself to the Lumea. By the time I went on holiday 4 months later I was pretty much hair-free and completely bump-free. I felt fantasic in a bikini with my now smooth thighs. I noticed results after the frst couple of uses and now use the Lumea about once a month. I never have to shave my armpits in between but maybe still need to shave a few hairs ffom my legs but they are much less coarse then before. I use the Lumea on the highest setting without discomfort. Occasionally, in more sensitive areas, I experience the slight sting described in other reviews hut this is bearable compared to the pain of epilation - and I certainly wouldn't have used my epilator in all of the sensitive areas where I now use the Lumea. This product has definitely changed my life and I wish it had been around when I was younger.

Finally no more bikini rash - in growing hairs or that horrible unsexy hairy feeling. Brilliant elsewhere too - I have very strong, thick and fast growing hair - I now shave every couple of weeks - as opposed to daily and that's only because I run and have bare legs. Simply brilliant.

My hair is very dark and my skin very pale, so I was the perfect candidate for this machine. I have used this on a number 4 setting and it can sometimes sting when in use, but for me this was momentary and I didn't suffer from any redness or soreness afterwards. I couldn't recommend this enough. Although it is pricey, it's a drop in the ocean compared to the confidence I have regained. VERY HAPPY LADY :):):):):):)

I had read good reviews of this product so had high hopes. The IPL has totally live up to them. I have dark hairs and light skin so am admittedly a good candidate but I have been amazed with the results. It's not easy because you have to commit time to do it - and maybe my pain threshold is low(!) as it hurts a bit but is totally bearable - but the hairs are disappearing before my eyes. It's amazing and I only wish this product had been around for longer ! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Wow, this gadget is now my best friend, so far I have used it twice so I'm looking forward to having no more body hair in six months. I cant tell if its working yet, but I do know that it does exactly as advertised, it takes no time to do the upper lip, as for the legs well lets put it this way, you have your shower then half and hour later you have finished using your Lumea and put it away until next time. Very easy to use. I'm so glad I decided to buy the Lumea. I definitely recommend that each of us ladies should have one at home, shame I didn't do so ages ago.

When I started to use the Phillips Lumea I was slightly sceptical as to how well it would work and how soon I would actually see results but I have been extremely surprised. I wouldn't say I'm hair free yet but I'm definitely patchy. Having used it about 4 times, the areas I have covered definitely have slower hair growth with bald patches!! I'm really impressed and can't wait for a few more goes to get rid of the remaining hair. I do have pale skin with dark hair which is one of the best combinations to respond to the treatment but I didn't expect to see results like this - it's a revelation to me as I have thick dark hair, which is hard work to maintain. It has been so much easier since using the Lumea, it has really changed my life and I'd highly recommend for people to try it. It's easy to use, can be used whenever you have spare time and is so portable being cordless - I sit in front of the tv zapping my legs!!

I’ll admit to being apprehensive to begin with but, over the last 8 weeks, it has completely won me over. The results are obvious, with marked changes in the amount and “strength” of re-growth I’m getting. I still haven’t got into using it on my bikini line (that’s just me and not the Lumea), but my legs and under arms are having to be done much less frequently and are remaining clear for longer. The charge lasts really well and when used at the right angle it’s taking me under 20 mins to do everything so it’s much easier than going all the way to your local salon and back! A big issue for ladies can be hair sprouting where, frankly, it has no right to be and even here I’m finding a big improvement. The Lumea is able to do your face safely and easily. I’ve been using it on my chin and upper lip and I love the results. Those annoying and bristly hairs are staying away for longer and the re-growth I am getting is much smaller and less noticeable than before. I find that rather than panicking about what I might have missed I can run out of the door in the mornings without worrying. Definitely a bonus! It really is so great that I would honestly recommend anyone unsure about it to take the plunge and give it a go. The Lumea Precision Plus might look like a big investment, but it’s a simple and effort-free time saver that gives long lasting results, which improve over time. What’s not to like?

Wow, this is now the one product I will never be without, it really has changed my life completely. Having used it for just over 2 months I am astounded with the results, within 4 weeks I was virtually hair free. I am already seeing the frequency of having to use it diminish and can't believe how smooth and hair free all my bits and pieces are, bikini line, under arms, legs and arms are all areas where I struggled to keep on top of and now it's no hassle at all thanks to the Lumea Precision Plus. This honestly is a must have on the Christmas lists, please if you think it's expensive count up the cost you spend on keeping yourself fuzz free and believe me it pays for itself in no time at all. It is so easy to use, charge lasts forever and glides over each area problem free when used at the correct recommended angle. Go on treat yourself!

I have owned the Lumea for a couple of months now and I have almost forgotten what it is like to have hairy, stubbly, irritated skin. Using the Lumea has become an easy and indulgent part of my beauty care routine. Do I have any regrets with using it? Nope. It is easy and always has been. The only one bit of advice I wish I had taken more to heart was to use a white pencil to mark where I had already treated. The results were noticeable within weeks. The hairs thinned after the first two treatments, and that was when I realised that I wasn't so good at staying in my imaginary lines! With my own 'missed patches' treated, I now have very smooth skin. Using it really does only take minutes, and because I can use it at home, if I am in a rush I can do one leg at a time. After the third treatment hairs really stopped growing, and now I don't even need to shave before a treatment because there are so few hairs. I haven't had any regrowth where I have used it, and I think the few hairs that I do have are from my own human error of having 'misses' because I didn't use always know where I had been! How does it feel to be smooth? Glam. I love smooth legs, but the real luxury is to have forgotten what it is like to have hair under my arms or on the bikini line. Yes it looks good, but it feels great. Could you do the same with waxing and just save the money? No. You might save a few pennies, but you wouldn't get the results, it would hurt, and you would most likely have to deal with ingrown hairs in unwanted places. The Lumea is excellent, and worth every penny.

I have been using the lumea for almost 2 months now and must say it has been one of the best and painless methods of hair removal that i have ever come across.With repeated use hair growth has been virtually eliminated,this is most marked on people with slightly darker hair than me as I am quite fair.I have shared the lumea with friends on a rotational basis and we have all seen a marked reduction in hair growth,we will definately be keeping up with it,and saying good bye to waxing!
