Great little epilator at an affordable price. I found it just as effective as a more expensive model I had. It’s not completely pain-free, but you definitely get used to it after a few sessions. The results last a long time, which is a big plus. It’s comfortable to hold and easy to use. Although it only has one speed setting, it’s fast enough for my needs. I originally thought the corded design might be a bit of a pain, but I actually prefer it. You don't have to worry about the battery running out halfway through a hair removal session!

I really like how small the box is. It makes the epilator easy to carry on my travels. The epilator itself is pretty small and very light. It is easy to use, as it has only one speed level and one button to turn on/off. That speed is very fast though. The epilator does what it says: you can do lower legs in less than 10 minutes. I would say that is possible because it has lots of tweezers, which are all very good. Because the tweezers are so good, after epilation the skin is very smooth. On the other hand, I would say one speed is not exactly very good, as you cannot choose the level of pain. There are no massage rollers and having only one speed it makes the epilation slightly more painful, particularly on the armpits and bikini line. For me the best features of this epilator are the speed, the excellent quality of the tweezers, that leave a smooth skin, the lightness of the epilator, which makes it very easy to handle and the simple design (only one button). Also, the epilator is so easy to clean and to charge. In my case, the smoothness of skin lasted about 3 weeks, then hair started growing again. So, it is a lasting result, which is great. There are minor negative aspects, and here I would mention the lack of massage rollers and the lack of speed levels, which make the epilation slightly more painful in some areas of the body (particularly for beginners). Also, I would have liked a longer cable, as the sockets in my house are not all very accessible. This epilator is pretty noisy, but it does a good job.

It is a must have product for everyone who want to get rid of this unwanted hair all over your body. It is so easy and quick to use. It can be a bit painful at first times, but it definitely gets better and pain eases with each epilation session. You can see results from just after one use, less and thinner hair regrows every time. I use the epilator every two weeks to begin with to get the optimal results. I think you will need to use it less often later. Don’t fortget to scrub, to prevent unwanted ingrown hair.

I was offered to try the Philips Epilator Series 2000 (BRE229/00) for free, and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised! It’s compact and the color is lovely, easy to hold, and definitely more gentle than older epilators I’ve used. It’s not completely pain-free (no epilator is!), but the results last around 3 to 4 weeks, which is great. Overall, a simple, effective, and beginner-friendly device, perfect if you’re new to epilation.

I have never used an epilator before, I feared they were painful so never tried. Now I have used this product I will absolutely continue to use this way of hair removal. The initial start was painful, I can't lie, but after around 3 minutes I got used to it and continued to finish both lower legs. The next day they felt so amazing and smooth! The freshness lasted a lot longer than standard razor shaving. The only fault I found was the instructions, they were not very clear at all, they were just pictures that I couldn't quite decipher.

I like this product because is very compact and easy to store. It can be easily taken on the go to use whenever suits. It has a decent length cord and works wonders. It has just one speed which I find to be not too high nor too low, but the right speed for effective hair plucking. The pain is quite soft and that was my biggest surprise as I do own another philips hair removal and I have a higher pain level on that one. It plucks the hair quite easily from first stroke, so it doesn't really need extra coverage, which is great for time consuming! Also, easy to clean as per the brush provided!

I really loved this epilator its very efficient . Honestly It's so much better than my previous epilator its grips the hair and takes it out quickly and smoothly. Very happy with the quality and the I love the colour!
