Philips Sonicare DiamondCleanSonic electric toothbrush

I first bought a diamond clean for my wife she couldnt stop singing its praise now l have one and so do my three daughters and their partners what more needs to be said.

having used oscillating electric toothbrushes for many years i was given this product as a present. what a fantastic job it does at cleaning the teeth and massaging the gums.

This is the second sonicare I have owned my old one was six years old and the battery finally stopped charging.tried Oran b toothbrush which was a present hated it found it bulky heavy and very rough on my sensitive teeth can't rate the sonic diamond clean highly enough batter life excellent three weeks hard to beat and a great clean highly recommend

I was sceptical buying this toothbrush. It was more than ever spent on something like this. But as I have some dental problems due to disability, I thought it would be a good investment if it worked. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I think it was money well spent. Because of an uneven bite I get a bad buildup of tartar on one side of my mouth which has already been considerably reduced. I have only used the standard setting and the polish so far, but they both give a lovely finish. The polish setting, which I use about once a week gives you the same feeling as when you've had a clean at the dentist. I also love the accessories that came with the brush. The carry case which also doubles as a charger is great for travelling. As I also have some dexterity issues, the charging glass works well for me. Just put the brush in it, no plugging in, and it starts charging. My only slight gripe is the high cost of the replacement heads. But if this means I have to go to the dentist less often, I can't really complain.

This toothbrush is worlds apart from my old standard electric toothbrush. The sonic tech really makes a difference. It's also far better looking; it's a pretty thing to see in the side in the bathroom and not at all obtrusive. It feels tickle-y as first, but its very easy to get used to. There are five functions, but I tend to use clean, polish and white most often in various combinations. I have used all the functions and can say with confidence that all the functions are definitively useful. The brush holds a charge for a long time; I have had no problem for travelling for a week with this and not charging it but I do love the fact I can charge it in the case if I wish. I think the toothbrush heads are a good size, and the toothbrush itself is comfortable to hold and easy to work around the teeth at all angles. I find the built in timer that alerts you at 30 sec intervals invaluable for getting around my entire mouth in good time in the allotted 2 mins. However I often go back in with the'polish' 1 minute setting to finish the front of my teeth. This is not because I don't feel the 'white' or 'clean' settings (both two minutes) do a good enough job alone, quite the contrary. But because it's so easy and nice to use I want to continue using the brush. When you have finished cleaning your teeth it feels like you've been to the hygienist, they are that clean and smooth. I have noticed an improvement in the overall health of my teeth and gums. The only small problem I have with it is because the handle is so smooth it is very easy to have the toothbrush clip down in your grip while using. On multiple occasions I have accidentally turned the toothbrush off as I have gripped it in just the wrong place when it has moved. A grip ridge or something similar to indicate ideal hand positioning would be appreciated but I understand that would slightly spoil the sleek design of the brush. Overall I love it and will happily buy another in the future.
