Sleek micro sound system

Hi, I have had this unit for a while now and enjoy the superb quality that makes up this unit. The sound quality and ease of use makes it really a pleasure to have and enjoy. The DAB radio picks up every station in my area with absolute clarity. the sound does not distort with the volume turned up and boy, there is plenty of volume coming from this modest machine. I have bought Philips products from a young age and over the last 55 years have never had any complaints. I regard Philips as a really top reliable brand giving the best service out producing a really satisfied customer. Hope you all enjoy whatever Philips product you buy. Trevor.

Easy set up procedure and adequate sound quality for a medium size room, DAB tuning was easy and quality good. All systems including the CD player work well now. I like the compact stylish design. Some quality issues however as the display failed after some weeks of use. The replacement unit also had initial display problems but seems to have settled down.

The system looks fantastic, small and slim. The sound is great and with the USB connection from the front drop down panel make MP3 player interchanging very simple. Nice work Philips

This is a lovely looking stereo, but doesn't do everything you'd wish for from a DAB micro system. It has decided in it's wisdom that it does not like to play newly purchased and some old favourite cds for reasons we can not determine. Other than this the sound is great, the dab pick up the channels I want and really like the look.

If only it was as good as it looks. It has 3 main faults that drive me mad: 1. From standby you have to press the power button twice to turn it on, why? 2. To get the CD to play you have to press play once for it to read the CD contents, and again (once the CD has stopped spinning) to actually play the music, why? 3. Skips the first fraction of a second of every track on CD or USB. Yes it really does, read the other reviews. If you can get beyond these faults/design flaws the sound quality is fine and the radio is good.
