LCD monitor

I was looking for a fast response monitor to cope with MS Flight Sim, and the graphics that produces, along with something large enough to be able to have a second screen at home for office work. Excellent product, and very clear screen. Perfect for what I was looking for and really does handle the graphics well. Also, Philips Customer Service is second to none - very helpful and looked after me.

I bought a 227E6LDSD/05 for a great price got it home fitted base,( the connection is metal and the screw has a folding wingnut ), removed the protective plastic, plugged in and away I went, picture was perfect. I run full HD 1920*1080 and my desktop was filling every millimeter of the 21.5 inch screen. I found the monitor controls a bit fiddly and sensitive for my fat fingers. but once set up, no need to do it again. This is an excellent monitor with a great price, I may buy another 2 and have that super wide screen for my motor racing sims!

Good size and finish (generally). Colour and image quality excellent - a revelation based on our old monitor! Easy to set up and connected using seperately purchased HDMI cable - its worth it! Only fault is cable tidy which is really useless as I couldnt fit it into monitor stand and it was flimsy anyway.

I keep seeing poor design reviews based on this product but I for one greatly welcome the compacitive butons and power LED tucked out of sight. This means I don't have to see obvious buttons or lights when I spend hours watching or gaming. The screen quality is what you expect from Phillips and with it being a W-LED lit TFT this is very good going considering anything better is going to cost you an extra £50 unless you find a deal at the right time..

I bought this monitor as a stepping stone to get me up and running with my new computer. I'm currently looking for something "better". I've used inverted comma's because I still can't afford anything flash, and to be honest, this one has been doing just fine. I've edited photos on it, and I've played hundreds of hours of War Thunder and flight sim games on it, and I'm having second thoughts about upgrading. Yes the buttons are tucked out of sight. But they are only used once for the initial setup, and there is no real need even for that. Thoroughly recommended.

I have a HP Pavillion 15" computer and was struggling with the advanced Photgraphic Software I have ie. Adobe Elelments, Lightroom6 and CC. I needed a larger screen but within my budget. This Phillips LCD is one Fantastic Screen and product. The definition and colour quality is second to none. It has completely changed the way I now manipulate my Photgraph's with Stunning results. Very straight forward setup with minmum instructions, very light and portable. I would advise anyone to buy this product, Brilliant Ianl

several of your previous reviewers have commented about the control buttons situated at the bottom of the unit,these are difficult to see and apart from the on/off button there are no instructions to tell you in detail what the other controls do.
