This latest Philips display uses advanced AH-IPS panels, resulting in superior colour reproduction, response time and power consumption. Unlike standard TN panels, AH-IPS panels show consistent colour even at 178-degree wide angles and in pivot mode. When Economy mode is selected, contrast is adjusted and backlighting fine-tuned for just-right display of everyday office applications and lower power consumption.

SmartKolor is a sophisticated colour extension technology that is able to enhance the visual colour range of the display. By boosting the RGB gain level of the display, you can achieve rich, vibrant images to experience outstanding photos and videos.
SmartTxt for an optimised reading experience
SmartTxt is a sophisticated algorithm that enhances reading of text-based applications such as PDF documents and eBooks, which usually requires more focus and concentration. The SmartTxt feature increases the contrast and boundary sharpness of text content for better readability. Optimisation for reading is achieved by adjusting the display's grey level scale along with white balance, brightness and contrast.
LED technology for natural colours
White LED's are solid state devices which light up to full, consistent brightness faster saving startup time. LED's are free from mercury content, which allows for eco-friendly recycling and disposal process. LED's allow for better dimming control of the LCD backlight, resulting in a super high contrast ratio. It also gives superior colour reproduction thanks to consistent brightness across the screen.
