It is very very efficient. It is excellent to have when you have a multi fuel fire and is sensitive to the atmosphere in the home.

Does what it says on the tin - very well too. Air quality is monitored automatically and the 1000i respond accordingly until back in the "blue". Air quality varies greatly with cooking, central heating, wood fires, pets etc It is unobtrusive, very quiet and the air filtered of everything to a fraction of a micron. Fully recommend it

Philips air purifier has a excellent job in improving the air quality of our house. Before using the product, I didn't realize the air quality and dust index were high. Within 1 week we could make the difference. On checking filter, I could find particles captured. Using the vacuum cleaner, this could be easily cleaned. Some of the best feature of Philips Air purifier are 1. Improvement in the air quality 2. Night mode available for silent operation 3. Easy to clean the filter 4. Option to see air quality from mobile and control the device using the app 5. Removal of odour in the room due to cooking is very fast.

to start with this purifier is so simple to set up and work, simply take all packaging off all filter and machine pop inside plug n go the instructions are very easy to follow, including pairing with the app and full set up. the app itself lets you set timers on and off, look at your air quality in your room and outside from data from the local air quality readings. the air purifier has 5 modes, auto, speed 1, speed 2, turbo, and sleep. when i first set mine up i connected everything up them put it on turbo for the first 5-10 mins and once air quality had improved then put it onto auto which it has been on since then. you can tell the difference in the air quality, and no more sneezing for me due to pet dander and pollen, so absolutely brilliant. and as a added bonus it cools air down much better than a fan or air conditioner. the cost to run this is next to nothing, the cost of the replacement filters is £60, but i have been putting £5 a month away so when time comes to change filter money will all be there.

We are delighted with our new air purifier. In the short time we've been using it, we have noticed a drastic improvement in air quality of our living space. Living on a busy main road we get horrendous fumes and dust coming into our living room every day. This undoubtedly has a detrimental effect on our health. The air purifier has therefore been a godsend! It's so reassuring knowing that the air we breathe in is now virtually free of pollutants, viruses and allergens. There are 4 speed settings, including sleep mode which is extremely quiet and turbo mode when you need extra purification. However, the purifier automatically detects pollutants and chooses the right speed setting itself. At one point the display reading went up to 500 (the maximum) when we cooked a steak in our open plan living space and the purifier quickly brought it back down to 2. We haven't had to change the filter yet, but it looks straightforward enough. When we removed the filter for vacuuming after a week's use, we were amazed at how much dust it had collected. I particularly like the smart functionality which allows you to manage the air purifier from anywhere via the app and through Google Home and Alexa. We have had a few issues with the purifier losing wi-fi connection sporadically, but this is easily resolved by unplugging the purifier for 30 seconds. Hopefully this will be resolved with a software update.

Been wanting to purchase an air purifier that will help with pets odors. Was happy to know that Philips 1000i Series air purifier can help with that. Sleep mode - it is really quiet and can't tell that there's an air purifier working in the background. Glad to know you can sleep well and the purifier is doing its work. Turbo mode - I use it after changing sofa covers and vacuuming. Auto mode - I use it every day. Pros: I noticed though that it helped with my allergies. My sneezing has reduced a lot so I'd like to assume that the product really helps purify the air by removing the particles and dust in the air. I was expecting the product to help reduce or eliminate pets' odors. It reduces a little bit maybe 3/10. I have 2 dogs, a large and fluffy and 1 medium so I don't really expect much. It would be nice if Philips will improve this area :) The dust on surfaces reduce a little bit, I notice a little bit of improvement on that so I was happy. Mobile app - I love this as it is easy to use. You will see the status of the filter as well so you would know when it is time to clean it. Cons: It is the size. I didn't expect it to be that big but I expect it wouldn't work pretty good if it is a bit smaller maybe. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and I would highly recommend it to my family and friends!

Super happy with this thing so far. It has pretty much gotten rid of any smell. My apartment was getting dusty and my neighbour's smoke was infiltrating all my rooms. It purifies really well to clean the air quickly. I’m allergic to cats but this has really helped with the pet hair too. It was easy to set up. The sleep mode is super quiet. This was a great value for my money

We got the Philips Air Purifier to help combat any dust in the house due to us having renovation work and a newborn baby in the house. We used the Purifier in the living room and bedroom and what a difference it has made. The app was easy to install and use and allowed me to control it on the move and change any settings depending on your house worries (I had mine set to dust) with the air quality index showing how much difference the Purifier made to each room after being on for only 10 minutes. I found It to be quiet and looks stylish in any room. I would recommend this product to any family to give peace of mind about your household air quality.

I suffer from hay fever and also the effects of pet dander from my dog. I take over-the-counter allergy tablets but these don’t help much. I tried this air purifier and was sceptical at first but I am so happy with the results. My allergies are so much more manageable and as silly as it sounds, it has genuinely improved my life. The machine is easy to use with a very helpful manual. The product is large but not oversized and the design means it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. It worked perfectly and took only minutes to set up. The best thing for me is that it is silent and doesn’t cause a racket whilst it is on. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who suffers with allergy problems.

This product is very good and you must have it at home. Is so quite during the night so you are able to sleep with any kind of problems. I did realise that after using it I am able to sleep so much better. I am this kind of person who have allergy all over the year. Right now my nose is finally unblocked. Highly recommended to everyone.
